What's better, Flaming Sword, Diamond Sword or the axe thing?

I think that the damage on diamond sword and the vicious axe are the same (9?), but I think that the axe is faster. The flaming sword's damage is 8, but I think that it adds fire damage on top of that. I could be wrong, I haven't paid much attention to it. (I usually use the flaming sword.)

it may not be that the fire damadge is added... rather... that it still does 8 dmg.... but since its FIRE damadge enemies don't have as much resistance to it(unless your fighting... I think heivil is the name of the fire one?)

uh, my diamond blade does 13 damage...

I have Ghost Pirate's Diamond Blade which does +14 damage =)

I wish I could enchant my golden plate mail but enchant armour doesn't work with it atall

Thats with your normal attack added on, its +9 attack, your normal attack is 4
