Graphics card
 

I have an ATI Rage Xpert 2000 graphics card and am currently planning on getting a new gfx card but I want one that is compatible with Graal... I would appreciate it if anyone would tell me of any cards they know are compatible with Graal's Direct X light effects option. Thankyou in advance.

I use GeForce3... any NVidia card should do fine...

My old pc had a radeon and i couldnt plat FF VII which sucked...
my new one has a GeForce 4 and its fine

I prefer the Radeon 9700 over the GeForce 4 Ti because it's proven faster, produces as high (if not higher) quality graphics, and supports a greater variety of resolutions; I have both of the cards. I haven't personally had any problems with compatibility, but I also don't have every game that's on the market.

Well sure your the 20 year old w/ a job but most people on graal are like me (teens) who probably dont have jobs and cant afford the expensive cards or we dont care.

I could recommend some other cards that would be best for certain hardware/system configurations/specifications if you or whoever wants to know posts them here.

(If someone does, make sure to also tell whether you have an available AGP slot or not.)

0.0 I went on ATI's website... the thing is over 300 fugging dollars.... how about something a bit less.... pricey?

http://www.gogocity.com go there and check out prices, they seem to have the lowest :P Besides the 9700 is like their best one on the market, and if you just play graal, you should get a cheaper one, just look around and ask questions. both companies, Nvidia and ATI, produce very good products, so you will get a good card either way.
