Summoning the Djinni.
Sorcerers who have advanced far enough in the magical arts can seek out the magical spirits, the Djinni, and attempt to form a contract with them which will allow the sorcerer to summon the Djinni' to their aid.
Efrite - Djinni of Flame and Heat Location: Undetermined. (Once someone makes a lava cave or something...) How He Fights: Djinni' require you to fight them before they'll forge a contract with you. If you win, they'll admit defeat and contract with you. If you lose, you'll get tossed out and have to try again. Efrite fights mainly by using heat. He doesn't move around at all and stays stationary. When it's time for his attack, he'll do one of three things: -Lava Rain: Causes small lava chunks to rain down over the screen. -Fireball: Efrite shoots a gigantic fireball in the direction of an enemy. -Heat Line: Shoots a line of explosions in the direction he is facing. Efrite charges up for about 1-2 seconds before attacking. He'll attack after standing still for around 2-3 seconds. After each attack, he'll teleport to a different location in his room. Effect When Summoned: -Explosion: Causes an explosion to radiate out from Efrite, damaging all enemies on the screen. Level of Magic Required: -Level 6 in Magical Skills. Modervarg - Djinni of Savagery Location: Undetermined. (Possibly in the Forest Island.) How He Fights: Modervarg is the Djinni of Savagery and therefor takes the form of a large and savage wolf. Modervarg's main attack is biting with those ferocious jaws of his. He can also charge an enemy and knock them back, as well as inflicting damage. Modervarg can also leap and claw at an enemy. Effect When Summoned: -Savagery: Each Ally on the screen gains 5 extra attack points for a period of 2 minutes. Modervarg cannot be summoned again until the Savagery effect on the caster has worn off. Level of Magic Required: -Level 7 in Magical Skills. Shei - Djinni of Water and Ice Location: Undetermined. (A sea cave, probably.) How She Fights: Shei is the Djinni of Water and Ice, and is equally dangerous as Efrite. Her main attack is to summon icicles and send them at an enemy, but she also has a few other attacks. -Crystalize: Turns a random enemy into an iceblock for a random period of time. (No longer then 1 minute though, this can be reversed by Cure Curse.) -Snowstorm: Like the spell with the same name. Causes an icestorm in every direction on the screen. Shei will float around the screen, attempting to avoid enemies. Periodically, she will form a water barrier around herself, which reflects all attacks against her, but she cannot attack while like this. Effect When Summoned: -Icicle Rain: Shei summons a rain of icicles down onto the field, affecting all enemies in the screen. Level of Magic Required: -Level 6 in Magical Skills. (More to come.) |

Yeah... something like that, but djinnis having elemental attacks, being fought to gain their powers, having to summon them and all that is just like Golden Sun
