Three years plus experience playing Graal - doesnt mean anything

A college educated professional programmer - see above

A former server owner/npc admin/writer of quests people really enjoyed - - and that server failed and it doesnt have anything to do with why you would make a good member


personally, I hate people/dont vote for people who say they want to be something then go on and on and on about there experiances, etc etc, it means nothing, someone who is fresh out of college, 22, could do a job infinitelly times better than someone who is 32 and has 10 years of job experiance, I would like to be on the council myself but I am NOT going to go around telling people to 'vote for me', that will just get people pissed off, I would rather be nominated, but that wont happen since the whole thing will end up being a popularity contest

i don't think many people have experience in this type of thing, and those who do will be overlooked, of course.

That I worked for a playerworld that was online, had various stages of popularity, and eventually failed - that is the kind of experince that could help my give advice to the pw council.

What would this council do?
-RC chat (or pm chat or email) with the staff of the playerworlds, play on the playerworlds, and listen to what is going on.

I have been staff, or dome the job of, on just about every level of a PW, form GP to admin to events to lat, nat, admin, and owner. It doesnt matter that the PW i worked for is down now.

What does matter is that when I am on graal now, or reading these forums, I see the same kinds of patterns that happened on sanstrata betwen staff. When these are brougt up in council meetings, this experince that i do have, as well as listening to the staff of the pw up for quesitoning, i believe can help in making some good contribution.

I want to be on council, because I think that graal has come a long way and can get even better, with the right people and the right kind of motivation.

hmmm, i went from nat cadet to npc admin on delteria, and from npc team to comanager on providence, im not bragging, i learned from both experiances, I would like to be on the council but I am not going around saying VOTE FOR ME since I doubt that I am even on the possible list of candidates and the fact that I just dont have time for it anymore, you will piss more people off with annoying vote for me messages than the ammount of people you get to support you from those messages

i went from
"Playerworld Management"
to "Playerworld Administration"
to whatever the hell we are called now.

If you did you know that everything but communism is instilled in graal.

Communism is a form of government started by the Former Soviet Union in the early 1900's, it failed since the government had too much control on the poeple (ex. number of kids allowed) and everyone was payed the same no matter effort,skill nor ambiton.

Soviet union was not a TRUE communist nation, in fact I have yet to see a real nation that is run by the communism as marx describes it.

I think we should start closing all threads asking people to vote for them or consider them in the council for 2 reasons
1) It conjures nothing but arguments
2) It's a futile attempt to get votes when the council is in a premature stages and has not yet even been created!
