The 2nd dungeon is specifically designed for lower levels truthfully. From the 5-6 average of D1, D2 is around 3-4.

The stats aren't different, but the lag seems not so horrible, it's more concise, and the boss is easier to get to. All those lazy 3-4's will go there just because of those reasons.
