I don´t know if it is good idea but ignore someone in the rc/nc is good because at the momment you can´t and it will be better

The whole point of RC is to work with it! If you ignore someone for annoying you, theey may later on not annoy anyone, and one day try and PM you about something such as a Hacker (Well 9/10 are trainer users and dont deserve the ''Hacker'' title)/Someone saying he hacked a RC or something. And its not much use if you ignore them!

So live with it, and unless you HAVE to be on RC, then dont go on, and the person/people annyoing you wont PM you!

An ignore feature would be meaningless.
Now however the invisable mode would be good for on some occasions.

Yeah, but only for Admins/Managers/Global staff! Also invicibility should be aloud, but only if you are on RC maybe. So that noone makes a NPCW for players out of it.

There is ghost mode on RC. But I think Stefan and Unixmad are the only ones to get it.

RC has every goddamn thing it needs. You people are never satisfied. You always want more features to abuse. My advice, if you can't do your job with the features the RC has, which is everything you could need, you aren't intelligent enough to be staff.

Yes, a cloak mode would be good.

A lot of people aren't GPs or whatnot. When you're just on for NC purposes I guess you can set your nick to "dnd scripting" but a hide button would be much better.

I've set my name to DND, THIS MEANS YOU! - away, and people go out of their way to say "Are you there?" "I guess I shouldn't bug you, huh?" "Whatcha doin'?" "When will Nations be up?" "Are you hiring?", often just to annoy me. If I want to get any work done on RC (which would be horribly useful, as I wouldn't have to email the rest of my team every time I check out a level to edit, all changes are made to the current level set, etc.), I either need to ignore everyone, which is rude and disheartening to the players, or I need to be invisible, in which case they don't see me to bug me.

It would be useful to GPs as well, as often "hackers" just lie low until the GPs are gone, then resume their naughty activities.

I SOMEWHAT agree. I think instead of the invisible to RC as Stefan and Unix have, where NO ONE can see them, perhaps ONLY to where staff can see you. If you're listed under staff= then you can see them and such. Maybe a toggle-button would be VERY useful. I see how it has a few good uses. But needing to be on RC to work is something I do often. I get on, and then I put PS *Away! DND! and put up my No-PM's thing or DND and STILL I get stuff from people... it is VERY annoying. Trying to test a script and getting "whatcha doin?" every 10 seconds x.x

you people are forgetting, noone requires you to answer the PMs, just ignore the little icon on the task bar or crash your explorer so you dont have to see it

It would be nice to have stelth for GPs though :)
And that blinking little pm thing REALLY distracts me.
Don't knock a good idea down... just make it a Right for the RC account to go on invisible mode. As a scripter I perfer to anihalate a problem, rather than exploiting potential workarounds.. workarounds are inefficient.

I myself would like an ignore or hide but I think it would be abused more than it would be used to help people =/ well, the only way invisible could be abused really is by just hiding yourself and leaving rc on all day...but that cant do much harm

Perhaps make it only a RIGHT so that only NAT's and possibly Admins and such get it. So that you don't have a FAQ who's just hiding out all day. There isn't a point to be on RC if you're invisible, when you aren't DOING anything x.X

Decent reason for an occasionally invisible GP

Its a right on the RC rights list, if a manager finds that you abuse this right, then he/she can take it away from you. Simple right?
