Whats your math level?

Whats your math level.

I find scripting revolves mainly around your level of math.

Right now i'm in geometry...
Yes i script very well for my level of math, i even taught projectshifter and he came out very well and even surpassed me because he got a job with NPC server and learned it and im now gonna start learning it.

Well anyways, i basicly taught myself, so what levels are you?

Torankusu_2002 09-02-2002 08:37 AM

Torankusu:
Advanced Algebra 1.

I would of been in algebra 2 in 8th grade if I had entered school a year earlier. The school I went to was the only one that offered that, the other schools complained because they didn't apply for it, so the school board removed algebra 2 in junior highschools.

i'm goin into algebra2/trig this year (9th grade), but i dont know how to incorporate math into scripting anyhow =P

For the most part, math just expands your problem solving capabilities and teaches you indespensable logic. Or something like that, anyway I'm in survey calculus now. I wasn't good enough to stay in the honors program so now I'm in the "advanced but not cool enough to get a bonus on our gpa" math class.
My school district doesn't have as many levels of advancement as other schools I've heard about. We can only be one year ahead of the average class. That doesn't mean that we don't have seniors in pre-algebra though...

I'm in calculus (11th grade)...after this year...I can only go backwards in math, or they can send me to college to take calc 3 (or 2, depending on which one they send me to)

dx/dy = the derivative (tangent line to a point on a curve)...

f`(x) = lim x->0 of (f(dx+x)-f(x))/dx

:-D

Heh, my algebra 2 teacher was my head wrestling coach. We made very little progress, for that of four months, during the season. He would just start babbling about some story for the whole hour, then we would find out that he was either excessively exaggerating, or just lying. Then last year I had the other end of the spectrum for Trig. Mr. Dankel gave us homework everyday, except one, and he had developed a highly sophisiticated monotone during his 30 years of teaching. Alot of people fell asleep just about as soon as he walked in the room!

This would be bad.

Algebra IIA.

But I'll be onto IIB in a few weeks, then to college with me not overly long after that.

Jinx 09-03-2002 06:24 AM

I don't know the exact name of what I'm going into.

The name of the class is 'Integrated Math' or something, duno. It's the highest math class at my school(I'm going into 8th grade)
