Something other than armor... soon?
 

Yeah, armor's cool and all, being protective, but then again, I think it would be nifty to actually have cloaks and crud soon.... I mean, wouldn't it be really nifty to see some guy in a cloak and a bow and arrow in the middle of the woods and your like "hi" and he's like "..." and then kills ya?

Much better than some guy with armor :(

Agreed. Cloaks would be leeto, but theres no spot on the inventory to put it in....
well, im thinking of armor AND a cloak, my mistake.

Ya and they could make you invisible if you moved on the left/right side of the building/cliff

pockets....=) yeah, i dont like wearing kingdom clothes myself either, im moving for a push on idividuality here. cloaks, hoods, tunics, forearm bracers, yeah that stuff. lets go admins.

Give me a set of white robes trimmed in spun gold and enchanted heavily with an aura of omnipotent protection and I'm a happy (not to mention invencible) camper.

i am not going to play unstil thieves get something good or it gets out of alpha XD

There seems to be only one problem to my suggestion.

Bodies and armor are the same thing. Armor doesn't consist of an NPC going over the body. It replaces the body itself essentially. So, in order to have cloaks and stuff, there would have to be a system of placing things over stuff... maybe an extra slot, or the ability to combine items of clothing (The Mark system would come into play)...

Dunno, but er1c or somebody, if your reading this, lemme know and I can get to work on stuff...

Cloaks and robes and other garments are already made. They just aren't scripted yet and the GFX for them on your body aren't made yet.
