Trade Shops

How about having special trading shops, where you can sell anything (just like now) but when you sell the vendor something, another player can buy it?

Like you go in a shop, and sell bread to the vendor, then other players can come and buy that bread.

The vendor would pay you money based on how much of that item the vendor has (the more the vendor has, the less you get) and would charge customers twice as much as the vendor paid.

Periodically, like every hour or so, the vendor would decrease the number of each item by 1 to keep from getting way too much of an item - otherwise water might be more expensive than diamonds!

What do y'all think? It would be more like having real jobs, b/c you can devote time to producing items you know that new players need - like food, armor, swords, etc.

I don't mean straight player-to-player trading, I mean like when a shop buys it someone else might want it later - or they might not. What that thread is saying sounds like a player-to-player trading system.
