List your ideas here. I'm just wondering if anyone has a good idea. :D

1. A working Auto-Sync
2. The ability for administrators to change inappropriate nick names
3. The ability to mass-mail everyone on the list

It has to be soft and cuddley, with lots of firepower.

Hmm, perhaps a better style message board? The current one is very irritating.

stefan76 08-07-2002 09:41 AM

1. Guild catergories (PK , RP , etc.)
2. Auto guild "kick" function. To keep the number of inactive guilds
down.
a. If the guild has less then 10 members for more than a week.
b. No guild activity in 1 month (adding members , deleting
members , using message system , building database , etc.)
3. More guild stats. (Total members , total members online time ,
total kills (if PK guild) etc.

Thats it for now ;)

I have a good idea, it should be made so the admin can delete anyone :D seems like a problem to me

bumbo 08-10-2002 10:57 AM

I am noticing a special little problem that could turn into a larger one....when a member has a special character in thier nickname as the first letter, ie:â€*Bumboâ€* the tag does not work but if the member changes it so a normal letter is the first, ie:Bumboâ€*Co-Leaderâ€* everything works fine o.O

Flamingblaze 08-15-2002 09:25 AM

Rawr. Well I'm not much a supporter of the uberlame names with those annoying characters but I'll ask Stefan to fixy.

gloop 08-15-2002 09:32 AM

its only with some ascii things

and i think it should give the admin (of the guild, and the guilds admin) the ability to change any name, and add / delete members

Flamingblaze 08-15-2002 09:35 AM

Rawr add/delete members for me....kinda powerful but I could see the usefulness for those folks who just can NOT figure out how to use guild management option, I once spent 45 mins trying to teach this dude and he STILL couldn't get it, I TAUGHT MY 11 YEAR OLD SISTER HOW COME HE COULDN'T GET IT!?
Edit:And yes, change name function is something that NEEDS to be added.

Guilds that don't add members, delete people use the system or build the database doesn't mean they aren't active. The Chill family hasn't done any of that for almost 2-3 months now because we haven't had any need to and talk over AIM.

I don't think guilds that are "inactive" should be deleted because most of the time, they are active.

Flamingblaze 08-22-2002 06:35 AM

I don't delete "inactives" till it gets to like 5-6 months of nothing then it's a problem. I delete ones that are less than 10 though after 3 weeks :)

Ziro- 08-22-2002 08:03 AM

wtfgs.....i think ALL guild tags that are families should be deleted....a guild is a group of people who have a common interest of are after the same thing....but not people who are just "related" to eachother

QUESTION: What about a "family" ? I've heard about that too.

ANSWER: A "family" is basically just that: a family ! Close friends might put a special name after their Nicknames to show that they are, well, a family. :)

Note: A "family" does not have anything to do with the actual Guild System in Graal Online .

Thats right from the Guild FAQ. All people in guilds can be/are friends, regardless what you will say. Families aren't guilds and really aren't treated like that. We have a tag thats true but were not a guild. ;)

Ziro- 08-24-2002 08:03 AM

....

the fact remains, they're still called "guild tags"...so the concept of families work WITH guild tags, that's why...before, people used ascii characters for their families WITH their guild tags...and i do think tags for families are a decent idea, but NOT guild tags....someone pretending to be in a guild is more of a problem then someone pretending to be in a family...it's like...if graal had no official guild system...and i wore an NBK tag, i would probably get PKed everytime I get on...but then again, if I say I'm ArchAngel's brother, I'd just get laughed at every time I'm on... x_x....so,anyways, like i said....families should not be involved with the guild system....perhaps another way of official tags, family tags? that can be used in combination with guild tags....i think that would make lots of people happy....seems like a waste to me though ;) ...everyone should know who's in a family unless it gets uberlame and uberbig

gloop 08-24-2002 10:23 AM

well, i think many familys deserve tags, i mean, its not like they are NOT a guild, just a different type, remember warhare? DeBladen?

Ziro- 08-26-2002 04:10 AM

well, then, bribe Stefan to make a new set of tags called "family tags"... and then complain on the "family forum" when the tags aren't updating... :D
