Starting out, picking stats, getting items.
What is the point of rolling stats and getting random scrolls when you start? Why not just have default stats and be able to pick a scroll?
I mean people just restart over and over until they get what they want anyway, plus the stats aren't even done so they are a combined total (I don't think) Like I roll the stats once and everything is low, and then another time and everything is high, I didn't feel like spending the time to add up all the stats each roll, but I think the overall total is different every time. So that kind of makes rolling silly. |
we should be given stat points and allowed to put them in a certain skill so we can customize the character even more
a magic using genious or a barbaric retard sounds like fun |
I agree. Almost every time I role it's so easy to get strength and constitution and dexterity, but getting things like charm and power is quite difficult to do.
I want to be able to pick my own stats |
This is why people are picking kingdoms they won't be in. Dustarian's have higher strenght than other kingdoms I think, but what if you want to be a preist of mage or something in dustari? Your out of luck. Most people (inculding me) are discouraged and pick, say, forest or pirate to get better stats that are more like their character. You know, why don't we pick CLASS before STATS. Then, make it so like Preists have more faith, mages have more mp, barb. have lots more strenth but less smarts. It'd work out better

Arwen strikes again with good ideas.

the kingdom you are in don't change your stats. only the the class affects it. the kingdom you are in only changes the way your body looks.
re-rolling really annoying for some classes like sorcerers because the melee scroll is a must-have for them. |
I posted the exact same idea in very simular wording and peopel disagreed with me. Now everyone is for it, strange.
