Apparently, I, along with many other members, have been labelled traitors to the kingdom of Dustari.

Last night we were making plans and showing them to Kamuii about a senate, which would be able to do some work on without the King having to be online all the time, which in effect, makes everything more productive. We also planned on having elections for a new Monach, seen as though he is not very active and you NEED an active monarch on 2k2. He would get it back once he became more active, yet now we have been labelled traitors!

Now Dustari on 2k1 has a King called Jackal, and a Prince which is Kamuii. You can either follow them, or you can follow the other members of Dustari.

People need to know what choice lies before them in the soon future, and what action they need to take.

The things discussed in that chat were treason. The highest ranking members assembled an impressive fifteen page chat about just how they should get rid of Kamuii and take over themselves. Kamuii became angry at their blatant insubordination, reset the kingdom roster and appointed Jackal, the rightful heir to the throne, as King.

You have the choice to make. You can rejoin Dustari, or be branded a traitor. Do not make the same mistake your former superiors did.

I'd like to point out that (Dustari) has four members, while Dustari has everyone who was just kicked out. Do you see what I'm saying? Kamuii may rule (Dustari) but he dosen't have dominion over Dustari, the community.

Jackal rules Dustari. Tag sweeps occur fairly often, this is just the first time it was triggered by an act of treason. All former members have the right to apply to Jackal for readmission.

Good. Lets just throw away the idea of giving everyone a voice in having a say in who will be the next Monarch, and make Jackal, a person whom hardly anyone knows, the King! Then we can put Kamuii as Prince so if Jackal dies Kamuii can take over, and Jackal can be Prince again.

Well then I'd still like to point out that (Dustari) and Dustari are two very different beasts

The rest of the chat was most people squabbling over which positions they were going to take for themselves in the new government, and how they should use their influence to run the king out. Pathetic.

That is mostly taken out of context, and it was a private chat. Aestus, I ask you this, who is the greater traitor? I can not place this feeling that I feel into words. You, Aestus, have betrayed something more than a role playing king, something more than a concept of absolute tyranny. You have betrayed Dustari as a community of people, of friends working together to fufil a common intrest.

Don't give me that melodramatic ****. "Community of friends working together to fulfill a common interest?" That's the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. There was enough infighting in Dustari for two civil wars. People did nothing but fight each other for a higher rank and "power" in an online game. It's crap like that that triggered tonight's events. You especially.

Again, private chat my ass. People have a right to know why they were removed from Dustari, and the kinds of things that were said that brought about those events. And if you're worried about being taken out of context, I can post the entire chat if you would like. I don't think you would, though, as it really wouldn't help your case.

No, you are incorrect. Most of the chat was spent explaining our constitution to Kamuii, then it kinda turned into a basic chatroom for everyone to just talk. In my opinion, the people have a RIGHT to decide when they want\need a new king. Aestus, you are an close-minded *****ic zealot who has nothing to do but play as a pawn in Kamuii's game. Kamuii, you have disappointed me and almost all of Dustari. You need to think things through, and learn to see what the consequences of your actions are. You also need to learn that it is your time to step down. Move on. Do something else. And, as Gryffon said, you both have betrayed the community of Dustari. If anyone should be labeled as a traitor, it should be you two.

I refuse to continue any further in this meaningless exchange. All it has become is bickering. While it's true that I might have a bit of a flair for the dramatic, I'd like to adress one more point before I retire for the night. How can it be consitered traiterous to discuss possibilities? That's what that was, an OOC discussion. SO now you can be penalized not only for things you do IN the world of role playing, but also for having different opinions? Wow, this is turning into internet communism.

Secondly, not a line of that chat was edited, so don't even try telling me it was. And since you're so concerned with being taken out of context, and since we both have such differing opinions on the content of the chat, you won't have a problem with letting people decide for themselves, will you?

And by the way, don't try telling me I need to think about the consequences of my actions. Maybe you should have taken your own advice a few hours ago.

I've taken my actions into consideration, and have concluded that this was the best course of action.
