Idea for a Subway System
 

Yes, I got an idea and mapped out an idea for Graal2001. The Graal Transit Authority, otherwise known as GTA. The reason i had this was because putting the tracks down below insted of above ground will be easier for graalians to get around without hasseling on the above ground tracks. The new subway system can probley have the new Drasinie Train thats being built. Of course probley the underground subway system can have NPC automated trains that run the tracks for the graalians. Make it feal like a real subway. And at each station their probley shouldn't have a fee to get into the subway at the beginning, or maybe later on start up a 1 fare fee, 10 fare card, and a unlimited Fare Card. Anyway i had to repost this and put the file into .zip form for efficeny for me since my I.E. was lagging greatly due to the file size. Anyway the maps in .Png form.

It shows a layout of my idea of the subway system and train lettering.
Please reply with your ideas, suggestions, and thoughts, if this thread grows large Kamuii might probley get interested. I hope you guys like this thread idea.

The NYC subway system traces over the old EL tracks.

When I heard 'Subway' I thought of the sandwiches and the subs :( I am hungry now and it's almost midnight.

what i want to know if you guys like the idea..not what you like to eat...tho a subway sandwhich does sound tempting

why don't you make the harmonia station where the hub is?

The idea is good, it'll cover up all those tracks, but if we are going to use trains, then please make a better one. The train that operates around graal is really laggy, and bugged.

Are you crazy? Why not make a Air Ballon Station, 500g to rent a balloon for 1 graal day. There are stations throughout the map where you can land the balloon. You cannot get out unless you land. If you leave the balloon on the landing bay for more than 5 minutes real life, you lose ur balloon!

Why don't we just get speeder bikes and hover cars?

And throw in a MooMoo Grenade while your at it

For the subway stations i was thinking of when you walk down the stairs into the station, you goto a mezzenie (however you spell it) level above the platforms, probley a hallway with stairs down to each platform. Of course each stairwell will have the information for that track route and such, maybe later today i will build a model station platform after I go see Austin Powers Goldmember at noon today

anyway im going to work on the model subway station platform area thingie

Heres a Picture of the station i just made, its a little crude in the design but this is just sorta like a template and wont be the actuall thing..But it gives a good idea on what one of the stations would look like

It's was better than the second Definitely! Th Ending with Scott Break Dancing asn't the best ending though. OOPS.

Just make an underground rail system, and people use their draisines there... and there could be random cave-ins that people have to dig out to clear a path.

I like the idea of the tracks being underground but the players should use drasine.
Train is too buggy.
It would get all the tracks of the main island and make it look nicer. :)

what if they use both drasinies and trains? but keep the stations
also that station, took me an hour to build x.x . It will make the land look alot cleaner without the tracks laying around them, and this way you can get thru the Knights of Solomon blockade on the Northbound - Southbound track between Bog. town and Mont Antora

Doesn't N-pulse's just warp you? This guy is talking about acctually makeing the levels...

How are the tunnels going to get there? appear out of no where? players should have to dig alllll the tunnels, with mining bombs/Z-bombs/pickaxes...

What i was thinking of having it seem like the tunnels are under construction *Edit*, construction being done by NPC's*/Edit*..Big long holes streching across the land, and of course not all the lines will open all at once. Probley open the blue line or the red line first

I dont know about digging tunnels but im Half Finished the underground thing carrage even though i havnt been assigned to it and im impressed with my own work and its only half done :-D.
