A "Malak Review". Graal2002.
Yes, well, 2k2's out. So, I figure I'll gie it a nice, intelligent review. Enjoy.
Well, upon connecting, I was impressed. The character creation was new and neat, and I was getting excited already. As soon as I go out of the sand, which is where you start, as most of you know, I was killed by someone continously saying /invoke fire hands, or something like that. A spell, I guess, as I watched myself splatter and turn into a grave. Then, I had to chose my stats all over again! I was beginning to like this game already! Not. But, I let it slide. The second time round, I managed to escape the countless rows of player graves, and ran over to the hairstyle place with my fellow English lover, Krakken. We humped eachother in there for a while until we noticed we could no longer change our hairstyles, and that we were no longer being continously SPAMMED by nice big white text scrolling in endless amounts across our screen, telling us everything we do, and everything everybody else does, and of course, even though we have toalls, it has anice feature that broadcasts a message to everyone. You can see how delighted I must have been. So, the NPC Server crashed, was what we concluded. I decided to sneakily try and unstick. I ended up in a black level being hit by Karsh with a naginata (good old Karsh!). I disconnected, figuring it'd all be better once it's fixed.
So, I returned about an hour ago. Repicked my stats, and ran away from the gravestone gallore starting place, and from the swarms of PKers. I made my way to the mines, and mined tons of times. Someone told me about the /save feature, so I figured that because of it, I would be /safe from PKers (HAHA GET IT?!¬). But, no. I was PKed again when I tried to run away from a magic dude again, as I was trapped in a home filled with gravestones (they must be popular with the kids), and was forced to repick my stats again, and lose my pickaxe, shovel, and all my gold, iron, and coal. I wan't happy. I decided, though, to let it slide, as it's 12.44AM here, which means it's not bed time yet for most you kiddies in the US. I had to keep this in mind. So, I decided that I'd happily make my way to the smithy to have a look around, then go and get my mined stuff back.
But, I got warped magically to the very top of the smithy level. I smiled, stabbed myself in the chest with my handy pencil, then called my mom a ****.
Graal2002 has changed my life.
I'll try again when hardly anyone is on. But so far, no good.
[EDIT]This is in no way my attempt to slander the playerworld. It is by far superior in graphics, animation, effects, and scripting to every other playerworld (except some aspects of Faheria, IMO). Feel free to comment about 2k2 as well. That's what this thread is about.[/EDIT]
