AOL raises prices
 

I don't use AOL (but I do use AIM), but I know a lot of you might be using it so listen to this...

AOL is raising thier prices again!

Internet giant America Online on Tuesday said it is hiking its subscriptions rate by $1.95, a move widely anticipated by the Wall Street community as the company moves to meet near-term financial goals.

Beginning in July, AOL will begin charging users $23.90 for its monthly unlimited-use plan. This is the first time AOL has raised the price of its unlimited service since April 1998, the company said in a statement.

The price increase is intended to help AOL fund improvements to its service. AOL's other pricing plans will not be affected by the change.

More money for a sucky service? I cant wait to see how many people stick with AOL.. :p

Still cheaper than it is in England... We have to pay... *does quick conversion sum in head* ...about $24.20 over here, and we have done for a while. That's why one day I hope to live in your fine country.

We were cancelling our free subscription to AOL, and man oh man they wouldnt let us go the guy was like "we'll give you another month! aPLZ DONT LEAVE *CRIES* NOO! comeback"

AOL=crappy intrusive......uh.....thing!!!

I hate aol........it sucks........from what i understand its very intrusive and there are some other things about it that i cant remember.......

i dled something on it that keeps my connection on tho, thats the only reason why we had it for awhile.

i had aol a year ago then we got road runner (Cable) and aol today even still calls us with crap

So easy to hack no wonder its #1

GAWD its cheaper to go with CABLE or DSL for how much AOL costs

AOL is for grandmas that is gunna die when their free account is deactivated

The median income in the UK is much higher than the US, though

My cable is $40/month, and you don't even need an extra phone line. Aol+extra phone line = around the cost of my cable modem.
Oh yea. Awesome thing to do with those aol cds. Stick it in the microwave for like 3 sec (nothing bad will happen since it isn't in long enough)and watch the light show in your microwave!

I use AOL and I havent noticed anything bad about it.

From what I've seen it's a horrible, hard to use service with no real advantages.

My AOL account got tooken away due to e-maling Ted Turner and calling him a raging, vile, (cursing involved) son of a (rhymes with witch and starts with a b)
