Very not cool RC bug...
 

So I was on RC talking, and all of the suddon I get disconnected, and it says "The server recieved illegal data from your connection" or whatever that error is. So I log back onto RC, and above the "New RCs" that tell me who's on is the stuff I heard last, and it says "Xaviar has updated the server options" "Options reloaded", etc...So I say to myself "Huh...I didn't change the serveroptions, I was just talking.." So I loaded up the serveroptions to see if anything weird had happend...Babylon's entire serveroption file now consists of the following:
And that's it. End of file.

So you can see my distress. I'm just hoping to god that there's an archive somewhere that saves the old serveroptions.

Also, it still let us reconnect, without the staff= line, which is kind of odd I thought. But then I thought it might just be because we weren't loading the serveroptions when we connected (Actually, Chrisz thought it), cause we didn't actually close the program, we just reconnected. I was too scared to find out if that's what it was, because if it was, then I wouldn't be able to get back on, so I just added a staff= line, but I'm still hoping to death there is some way to restore it, cause there's no way in hell that I can remember what all of the options were.

That sucks...

Check the logs file in the ftp called serveroptions.txt, maybe they are still in there and just aren't displaying in the Server Options window? I dunno though.
