Hiatus...forever, or just for a little while?
 

I don't know. I can't take the stress of everything right now. There's just too much. Both here on graal and in real life. Last night shows how bad the stress is getting to me.


Those rules are void. I'm sorry.


I must apologize to the forums, and to torankusu, icehawk, trueheat, birdbird, kamuii, james, and everyone else.


No one deserves to be yelled at, nor be treated like I treated them last night.


I need a break, in short. So, I am on hiatus now. For how long, I am not sure.


Some may wonder what this means for my jobs. Well, I will stay as acting administator, and Asst. GM. I am not resigning at the moment from any of my jobs - merely taking a vacation.

Nemesis has complete authority now on graal. Sorry, I can't exactly name a temporary asst. GM.

Vermain has limited admin authority as well here on the forums. I'll speak with galen and get those details worked out. Just don't go and ask vermain to mod you or anything, because he won't be able to.


Anyway, in short I am sorry. Goodbye, for now.

I don't blame you. Being asst. GM is tough enough, adding to being a super mod is just really filling your plate. Don't get me wrong, I think you are totally capable of these things but I don't question the fact that you need a vacation.

In answer to your question, of course you should come back! Your probably the highest admin that is closest to the community. Anyways, have fun on your break :)

Well, Alkaren put forth some new rules. They were really strict and he pretty much said that he's going to enforce them at whatever cost, so things would be really strict. He directed it towards the mods and players.

That's all? Doesn't seem all that bad.

You can see what exactly was said..well a small glimpse of some people...well, one thing that was said to Toran (ie look at the quote in his signature)

Heh. Unlike a police job though, this is not something I can just up and quit and come back to. I'm in an appointed postion.

THT has my confidence. I don't think Habek should've been appointed, though. And I think Alk was right to jack up the strictness a little - this board is being overrun by disruptive idiots who, it seems, will now be allowed to continue.

The only idiot is someone who blames things on "idiots." If the intellectual elite stopped acting like arrogant spoiled children, there would be no serious problems, "intelligent" or not.

A wise decision by Alkaren, for certain. Seeing your own misteppings is the first step to resolving them. In my opinion, it takes an extraordinary amount of wisdom just to come near that first step.
