Yes something strange happened to me as well, I was banned for about 10 seconds on 2k1 and the message was about someone i got banned from the forums for excessive spamming.

Sorry for the language but why the hell would his account need to be reset if he had the admin npc or what ever it was?

All that was needed to be done was to remove his name from the npc script or remove the weapon from his inventory if it was that sort of weapon.

In his position I think I would be very much pissed too. Give him back at least some things he had as many things are flag based... who ever did that could get into a load of trouble.

You got reset, boohoo. If it had nice valuables on it, just request to get them back. If they don't they suck big time.

If they wanna delete a flag they reset you.
It's simple as that.

The Admin NPC is auto added if your name appears in the database (admin npc 2.0 DB npc). If you removed his name and rights, the npc would delete itself next time he used a command. The Admin NPC itself can do nothing w/o the flags in the Admin NPC 2.0 DB npc.

cyb added an npc in his test level that constantly sets the rights flags (the prevent someone with NC to change the rights of someone) and when I tried to tell people that they just ignored me and tried to find another reason why they couldnt remove a flag =/

    Well, it seems that an account was reset. Oh well. That happens. I can't do anything about it, and if there is some kind of big problem, instead of setting your nickname to "!SPANKY {REBELLING AGAINST ADMINS}" or whatever the hell that was, you could nicly say to someone, "Could you please help me my account seems to be reset" and maybe something would be done, but the way you seem to think spanky, is very wrong and you should think before you speak, a trait well attained by people with large grey matter. I would like to elimintate this bs about him being able to ***** and moan (excuse the language), and by doing so he has also created a large movement of other people being angry for no reason. Please spanky, restrain yourself it gets things done.
    There is much to be done as far as admins, I'll admit that many are irrisponsible, and that is not good as a serious game. So I say if there are people who are not serious about being staff, and are just in it for the goodies, not the work, quit and let people with devotion join. Personally, I reguard 90% of the staff on 2001 with much respect because they are good people and hard workers, but there is much to be done and changed.

Coming from a guy who used to work for 2k1, and most likely was fired or quit because he had bad relations with staff.

Im pretty sure its logged.. I think who ever did it deleted it in the logs..

logs dont show anyone saved it and no, it doesnt record resets, i just tested it

As for your account your items will be readded, simply get online and PM an RC.

At the time (secret guy) and I had no clue why your rights wouldn't go away on the AdminNPC flags and we were told you quit...Should we have reset? No, but (secret guy) believed you quit so he said go ahead and reset you..that was before we even talked to Jagen about Cybnext's addition of the AdminNPC rights protector...Don't blame (secret guy), he told me to reset you but its not his fault, blame me if you'd like.

The name (secret guy) covers the name to save their reputation...and no, its not the managers.

No, because I reset you earlier (for testing purposes.) and it didn't show me resetting you.
