Ter's leaving :(

Ter's leaving for basic trainging tonight until the October 24th. He obviously won't be able to play Graal, but he'll write.

Dean 07-10-2002 02:35 AM

Hurry back now Ter, we'll miss ya :)

albus777 07-10-2002 02:43 AM

Yea, I'm gonna miss him :(

Terazel Tenjin 07-10-2002 02:55 AM

Gonna miss you guys, too. But I should be back after 14 weeks. :D

If you guys want to check on how I am doing, just ask Rakurai. I'll be writing to him whenever I have a spare minute or two.

Hilton 07-10-2002 04:53 AM

Bye!

It's a great experience and a lot of fun, I hope you enjoy it.

Googi 07-10-2002 05:03 AM

Training for what?

Terazel Tenjin 07-10-2002 05:10 AM

U.S. Army. My brother's half-right, since it's one job, I have to stay at Fort Benning for 14 weeks straight for Basic Training AND Advance Individual Training (AIT). 9 weeks for BCT, 5 weeks for AIT.

Pir 07-10-2002 06:03 AM

What's the point of joining if it puts him in a fatally risky situation? I don't think it's because he is scared, I think it is because he has the instinct of survival yes?

Fighting is pointless in the mind of some as well (Including myself)

2) Hell freaking yeah im scared, why the **** would i sign up to maybe die?

Brad 07-11-2002 09:01 AM

Holy:
I'll probably join the navy, or army.
There are jobs in the army you dont have to go in to combat with, scardy cats.
Good luck in training, ter

That's a pretty bad way to deal with things, we'd be in total anarchy if everyone thought like that

HideMisery 07-11-2002 09:36 AM

Woru:

I wouldn't join the army either
I cant stand running :O
or dying, for that matter.

LOA--Paul 07-11-2002 10:05 AM

i dont care, there is no excuse for taking someone else's life. not one in the world, even if he/she orders the mass destruction of thousands fo people, no one has the right to kill anyone.

and i agree with woru, i hate running

Some people don't deserve to live.

Prez56 07-12-2002 12:34 AM

I think that if you would not fight for your country you are not patriotic and you do not belog in the country. If you dont fight for your country...who will????

as a funny quote"Do not fight to die for your country, fight to let those bastards die for theres."

Pir 07-12-2002 03:46 AM

minoc, no one deserves to die.

and Prez56, your a ****ing *****, none of the wars america has fought in the past 20 years have been for our country. the gulf war was for the economy, and this afgan war is to cover up bush's mistakes.

again, no one needs to die for anything.

You seriously need to go get facts, go watch the news, because that was the most ignorant thing I have read in a long time.

And besides these forums were not made to talk about politics, if you want to argue with your opinions , do it somewhere else.

Discharge 07-12-2002 03:56 AM

Im in the CIA.

You are VERY wrong here, that's real stupid

Vietnam, not in last 20 years but close, was to stop the spread of communism which DID effect us, it was a GOOD cause, but poorly carried out which was bad

Gulf War - Hmm, so the economy of our country has nothing to do with our country? doesnt make any sence

Afghan war - Ever hear of 9/11, or the embassy bombings in foreign countries, oh, and the movie Black Hawk Down, thats a true story, and the warlord's militia that pulled that, funded by Al Qaeda, also, I don't know of any big "mistakes" Bush had/has had before this/during.....

no, no one does.

and on bush's part. in his first 100 days he un-did all the good things clinton did. hes a freakin *****, there is no reason there should be a war in afgan. right now.

wars in americas favor should be for freedom, not because we weren't going to have oil.

i've never seen black hawk down, i dont watch movies much on account of they suck.

vietnam, dont get me started. more people died there than necesary. communism works if you use it right, the reason america was agaisnt it was because the politions would not have a job, so they wouldnt get piad.

carl marx is a genious. end of story

Brad 07-12-2002 07:04 AM

I still don't understand your reasoning Pir. Suppose someone came to your town, torched all the buildings after raping your mother numerous times and shooting her in the head only for you to watch. You would care about this man? You'd say "he should not die, he is a nice man."? Seems pretty ****ing *****ic if you ask me. I'd want them dead. Hell, if we caught Bin Laden I'd want him hung by his legs in time Square for the crowd to do what they please with him. Sound sick? How does killing ****ing 1000s' of people sound? **** him and **** the rest of the perfect society *****s who think that peace is the key to everything.

Communism ONLY works in theory, it would never work out in the real world, ever.

End of story.

i wouldnt like that at all, and i would not say he was a nice guy..........BUT i would not wish death on him. Every person who says osama should die is just as bad as he, every person who says the death penalty is good is jsut as bad as charles manson, or jeffry dommers, or the ku kulx klan.

Um, in what way? I don't see your reasoning at all...
