Review : Cynical(Again)
 

This review is going to be short. If you would like a more detailed review, please dig back a page or two on the forum and find my old review of it, it hasn't changed a whole ton.

Creativity - 9
This is all pretty much the same as last review, but I found a few more jobs, none of them being your typical "press D a million times and get a rupee" jobs, they're a little more interesting than that, I think.

Levels - 6.5
A little up from the last review, it looks like a few levels have been fixed up since the last review, and look a bit better.

NPCs - 7.5
I don't think they have a problem with NPCs. =)

Storyline - 6
Nice Storyline, not very consistant with it though.... after the opening intro I can't find much more that ties into the storyline.

Quests - 8
I have been told where all the quests were, and looked at them. I like them, a little more than just hacking through a million baddies =)

Overall - 37 out of 50

Au contrare, I think it SHOULD be given to Urizen at some point. Yes, he's a stuffed shirt, but if it doesn't go through at least one really stuffed shirt we'll have another UN or Maloria.

Trust me this server is nothing like Maloria. I didnt pay Jinx to apss the PW and then offer him a job *gives Jinx Hush money*

In order for a PW to get online it needs to pass each reviewer. If it fails any reviewer, it fails.

Once the reviewers are done with it, either myself, or Nemesis must give it the o.k. In other words, I will eventualy see it. If it's good, it'll go up...

Anyway, I'm done arguing with you as it seems your inteligence level is that of a chimp.

I think it should ethier have to pass one reviewer, then it goes to you, then to Nem,

Or it should have to pass 2 reviewers, then you or nemesis.

Sorry Panda but you're mistaken...
We did not pay Hawk to pass our PW...
I will explain it again and for the last time... I don't know why Hawk deleted the server once but anyway I will explain...
I sent it to Psyker, not to Hawk... Psyker was having some other problems in his life then HE sent it to Hawk to review because he had no time...
Hawk reviewed it and passed (Maloria passed by Hawk, Psyker and Stefan), and the reason about passing Maloria was because everything worked offline, so he could check the whole server potential... I didn't even talk to him before that... And after the Playerworld became public, I INVITED HIM TO BE STAFF on Maloria... and he accepted...
That's all... He did not ask me to be staff there... :o
You people can think that Maloria is a crap but it is not... We are redoing alot of things... And the major problem was that many things that were working fine when we were private, did not work when we became public... Stefan knows that... That's why he says that Maloria is cool, because he saw the whole server...

I know we have alot of things to improve like the tileset, but we are already doing that...
Brett screwed up the server uploading a new overworld... ugly one...
But now Maloria only can improve in my hands, and I'm also hiring a new staff since Geovanie and Gastly quit...
So if you do want to check how the server is, just log on, get the new tileset and talk to me if you're interested in getting a job there...

personally i think urizen's review was good. There are already a shitton of PW's and i think an "average" pw probably shouldnt pass, i like the idea of having to go through several reviews and with some very tough reviewers. A pw should be really really great to pass, it should have a good storyline, great quests, awesome scripting, sick levels, and interesting jobs and events. Personally i think the system is good how it is.

I need to speak to him about that. I'd perfer it go by either Toran or Jinx, then if anything must be passed by either Nemesis or myself.

I don't exactly like this new system where we have to keep passing it on.

About 5+ people/playerworlds have already avoided it and just sent it straight to stefan. It wouldn't be fair for the unknowing people to not have the same privledge.

It may have alredy changed, I haven't had a chace to speak with Nem yet, but as far as I know he initialy wanted a PW to go through each reviewer, and either himself or myself. If I worded it like it needed to go through both myself an Nem sorry about that. If you and Nem decide that you want to take care of it yourselfs then thats fine.

The plan was 2-3 people review it, then if it passes it goes to an Admin who does a quick check, and decided weather the submitter is able to properly run a playerworld and it's chances of sucess etc.

As for fairness, I'm still trying to work things out. Stefan and Unixmad want people to take care of things, make, and enforce rules, yet they let players go arround them by seeing them directly. For any staff position to really work properlyon Graal they will need to start sending people to the right person when they are approached; e.g. if someone sends Stefan a PW asking to put it up, Stefan should say "Go through the Review process like everyone else." because if he sais "OK." then nobody goes through the process anymore, and everytime we try to enforce a rule the players scream bloody murder. :(

As for all the dissaproval with myself, I don't belive I've done anything to deserve it, but I'm not sure if my job still exsists so you all may get your wish. I haven't done much because I don't have the ablity to.
