What the....

"Cyberjoueurs is a game development company devoted to bringing multi-player games, platforms and tools to server the internet, set-top box, game console and portable device markets. We have more than 5 years experience developing RP and massively multiplayer games, and have developed solutions for ©Windows NT, LINUX, Java and ©Nintendo platforms. "

Ok, that's just fine and dandy, but read those last two words. "Nintendo platforms."

?!?!?!? Maybe it is the ROM for the Game Boy emulator?

(No, this is not about ROMs. ROMs are simply games, no more. I suppose this'll be deleted for even containing the word ROM, but there WAS a Graal ROM which a lot of people know about. Don't come on telling me this is old news. I know it is.)

BeZeRkEr 06-10-2002 10:23 PM

Cyberjoueur had hopes of developing for nintendo, so far there has been no luck. I'm unsure if they still have any intentions of pursuing that goal.

Yeah.... With that big squeeze and all between Zelda Online, I don't think it'll happen. I don't know, though. It just might.

Could you imagine? Graal: NewWorld |Only on Nintendo GameCube|

That'd be pretty cool. Online 3D Graal on the 'Cube.

When we were talking about graal on GBA stefan said himself it was much easier to program and he doesn't have to worry about compatible devices, because it is only one device. So is he working on a GBA graal? :D

Probably not. I wouldn't see why Stefan himself would even work on something for Cyberjoueur. Stefan owns Graal and maybe Copyright Graal, but I do not see why the owner of a MMP on the PC over the internet could go to the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. I'd say unixmad might have a bigger role in it than Stefan would.

Point blank: I don't think it'll happen.

TheFrozenFiend 06-10-2002 10:33 PM

Nintendo and Cyberjouer?

Unixmad to Nintendo Rep: Hi. We are the company that stole your Zelda game and changed it slightly, while still stealing your graphics, to lure people in to our company. In other words we are leeching off your fame to make money.
Anyway....Can we develop for your console?

Nintendo Rep: I thought I recognised your name. Guards!!!

*8 nintendo workers run out and drag Unixmad into a cell*

Brad 06-10-2002 10:39 PM

Holy:
I'm sure an average graalian could own 8 nintendo guards. -_-
but that's not the point of this post. We aren't still stealing graphics, the GATs are making them. pfft

Very ugly remark on your half.

Nintendo and Cyberjoueur got things settled. The only singe thing that was noticably the same was the tileset. Even at the tileset, it was changed. LTTP tileset was ugly, anyway.

but it easily could, stefan said himself it is easy. Even if he released a small version like a test I would buy it from the graal site, that would rock :D

It would have to be like graal 1.41 or earlier, so you could link up to 4 people with GBA and play on the classic levels.

SinNetherwind 06-10-2002 11:44 PM

Think of the possibilities! graal being a world recognized game, and I am staff on some playerworld! ID BE FAMOUS!

Pir 06-11-2002 12:25 AM

that would be cool, we'd get a lot of newbies around here. but at least graal would have some money to use on the servers. NO MORE LAG wooo yeah

Projectshifter 06-11-2002 01:16 AM

I'd love to see Graal become a platform game. And have net-play too.

it would be funny if they showed my real face on a wanted sign and then said "the following man could be harmful to you if you get in a conversation with him, and your brain will die"
and then i popped out and ripped up the sign but then Gabriel would drive by in a go-kart and i would get in but then Trueheat, and countless others would run after us with flaming objects.
or something like that.

adam 06-11-2002 02:47 AM

It would be awesome if they could make an at least semi-succesful GBA game.

That would provide lot's of funding for better stuff for all of us.
