Do you all realize that, without graphics, graal would not exist?

So I think players, and staff, should give us a little more respect. I'm sick of the crap I get, and I'm sick of being ignored frequently by other members of staff that are higher than what I am.

Yah, thats what I told somebody on another thread when they said gfx werent important (the "graal would not exist" part).

On Babylon, during my all my time there, Graphics was generally well respected. I was GFX Admin and was one of the 3 people who had full FTP access, at one point. I've done close to every custom graphic they have though, so it didnt come without trust and hard work..

But yah, I can get real defensive when it comes to my work. People can get shallow. So I can empathize with you.

Kawaii, I know for fact you are well respected. When you were leaving that one time, that thread you started was FULL of people that was gonna miss you. :(

All aspects of the game are as important as the other.
Without gfx there would be no game.
Without the engine there would be no game.
Without levels there would be no game.
Without NPCs there would be no game.
They're all as important as each other.

Someone should make some pixel-art toutoruals(sp) :O So I can learns more!

How i learned to get good at gfx and shading ect:

Zoomed in the most u can so each pixel is like the size of ur screen and just take it from their it takes ages to do but with stunning results and as u get better zoom back 1 or 2 lol if u understand

We own our bosses they know if they fire us ect its pretty hard to find a half decent GFX guy out their heh just fight for your right and everything will pull through lol.

I know how to make GFX, i just wanna get better, and it'd go faster if i had some sorta guidance.

I wish i could help you out but im realy busy at the moment.
If u know how to make Gfx get a simple gfx job on a server and learn from ur boss

I do the zoom all the way in way....I zoom out alot to make sure its how I want it and zoom right back in...I'm still in the progress of improvement =X

I have a job as LAT Admin, GFX are just like a side thing that i like to do... I just make them for fun, or to use in my levels, like these...

yes i agree use GATS should get more respest and i also argee that npcs level and imgs without any of them graal would nothing
also im working on makeing a server called tomorrow land its gonna have its own gfx im working on a tile set its prity cool ill make a thread about it when i got more done i have 88 levels so far

I personaly haven't seen a Graphics maker on graal that truely disirves my respect for content already exsisting in graal.

Thats my opinyon, impress me, make me say wow, those are some nice graphics, not some chair here and there, you know? You won't get recognition unless there is something that someone can recognize you by. You can't expect to be praised as a godly person when only doing some hats, an evelvator, and some mining equipment .ect, npc and levels are payed attention to more since they are the things the people see.

Places where will will say wow at will be places like oasis, murasamune, 2k2, and 2230 *rar*. I know alot of the graphics people are talented, from what I've seen, but thats all Ive seen, nothing in game.

And thats the bottom line, if you expect to be respected just like everyone else, you have to be able to put the same amount of work into your field as they do, make some new tiles, make a new house, make something that impresses everyone, making an end of a table just doesn't cut it.

no offense, but its not like you made EVERY gfx there is, your just in charge of them and we appreciate you... dont worry, most high admins are jerks to everyone

You have had my respect as a GFX Person for quite some time. I loved a lot of your stuff but I have to say that mummy that was your avatar for a while was the best. I think you made the 2002 bodies and stuff, although good i dont like them

Yeah, alot of people are really talented, showing stuff you know, Kawaii is so fly with that, But showing that ingame is a differnt story.

I think GFX makers dont get enough power on PW for example a reoccuring thing i said is "I get no respect" because ton of staff got to test all these cool NPCs while i was left in the dark to be my own secret agent and find out what the levels they were at and what they were testing.

When Baylon was first begining i would constantly get sent to jail because LH wised up and put auto-jail commands on all his secret levels. But it was cool becuase i always got out.

graphics are the heart of the game/server, they'll make or break it. I don't see why you guys aren't getting the respect you deserve. besides GAT, NAT is the hardest spot to fill.

LOL, yah I remember that. I had to talk to Lord Helmut to give Xavair and me access to those levels.
