Windows XP and Graal.
 

I just installed Windows XP Home Edition, and when I play Graal I lag like hell.. can anyone help me on fixing it?

download new drivers for you GFX card?

I heard someone say you click on the window 98 mode or something

thats odd i have XP and it works fine, spanky did your computer come with XP or did you install it?


edit: ohhh you instaled it, i dunno then hmmm mine came wit it and i have no problems

I have had no problems with Graal and XP, and I don't run it in compatability mode.

To run graal in compatability mode for Windows 98 (for people running Windows XP):

Go to your graal directory, and right click on the graal.exe file.
Go to Propeties, and then to the 'compatability' tab.
Check the checkbox that says "Run this program in compatability mode for", then select "Windows 98 / Windows ME" from the drop-down menu.
Click ok, and you're done!

This is Graal related.

Either your hardware is old, or you need to get more RAM (Windows XP takes more RAM then older versions of windows, so if you were barely getting by before, now it won't cut it).

Also try your refresh rate for your monitor, I know that was the cause of Toad's problem.
