As you all should know, when you sign up for an account you are required to accept the terms detailed in the service agreement. By accepting these terms, you are legally responsible if you fail to maintain them, and your contract with Cyberjouer and its holders is terminated, so they are no longer responsible for providing service to you.

So, what's up with pking staff? Here's the real deal. The one rule given explicitly about pking staff is in the GP handbook, which is not part of the License Agreement. It says that GPs may jail a player for killing a GP. However, there are no GPs on the 2001 server. So, technically, you have the right to pk anyone on the 2001 server.

There's a catch, though. Jailing is not a denial of the service outlined in the contract. So, any action can be considered a grounds for jailing a player; if a staff member jails you for no reason, you have no claim against them- but you should, nonetheless report them.

Personally, I consider it a simple matter of courtesy to not pk ET while they're doing staff, admins while on duty (as rare as that is), Stefan, or Unixmad. Killing them is simply rude.

I agree with you. You are allowed to PK staff, but you can get sent to jail. Jail was made for PKers, so if a PKer killed anyone, they are supposed to go to jail. So you can PK staff, but you can get sent to jail

But on that same token, I don't think that staff members should be PK'ing players, and I've heard reports of that happening.

I also don't like the fact that peoples are swearing in the game. Thats in the personal conduct policy that you agree to when you get an account.

Staff could PK, but only when they aren't on duty. The only time I PKed when I was trying to kill someone with a name that was unacceptable. Swearing should be a rule that you can get sent to jail for, they need to make like a filter system.

I think staff shold pk whenever they want. But, of course, ET shouldn't pk while doing events, and admins shouldn't pk while on duty (as rare as that is).

No, staff should not PK whilst under their tag. If they wanna PK, they should remove their tags and go nuts. Not until then.

There was a playerworld I was on a while ago that had an NPC called the "Profanity Stopper" or something like that. Anytime you said something potentially offensive, it took away a heart.

Heh... but Graal doesn't need language filters. It just needs a better administration system. Potential GPs should get tons of recommendations, as well as an interview. It sickens me to see hackers rise above everyone else because they suck up.

If Graal 2k1 had 5 Staff members on every day who answer to hacker/cheater/harasser reports and make the right decisions, the game would be 5x better.
