Maloria and Rule Proposal...
 

Well, it has come very apparent recently as to why Maloria got the great review it did.

So my idea of what should happen with maloria is that it gets re-reviewed by a PW Reviewer or Psyker. If it passes, it stays up, otherwise it goes down(Or maybe all PW Reviewers do it, majority pass/fail status determines whether it stays up or not).

And I would like to propose a new rule to Psyker about the PW Team. I think it should be a rule that PW Reviewers cannot work on servers. It would become very easy to give it a great review if it's submitting, and it would become easy to steal things from servers being submitted and put it on your own server.

Hawk couldn't have executed this plan any more poorly. He deserves the idiot award for trying to put a PW online for it's "superb content".

what if he only POSES not to be staff then quits the administration after the world goes up? cheap

This, I don't exactly like. I mean, yeah, becoming admin on a server or something after you pass it, it's going to cause some stirrups, but becomming like LAT and working your way up should be acceptable. I figured I'd help some server with levels if they needed, considering I'm going to be bored most of the summer.

Maloria needs a review.
When it was playable the first 3 levels it looked bad this insides were ok but the outsides AHHHHHHHHHHH.nuff said

I don't want to do that, but if I have to, I'll do it. I mean, come on, it's not like you, Urizen, Torankusu, or Vermain are going to betray me, right?

When I was still playing Graal I decided to choose one playerworld I would make levels for and stick with that. I chose Maloria cuz it looked like it needed help. I IMed Geo and told him that and hes like "well your gonna have to fill out this app" and blah blah and so on. I was like I just want to help and I will show you level examples and stuff and hes like No, you have to do all this ****. and im like **** it. And now its a pile of **** =/

that rule is alright. how about PW REviewers cant review PWs they work on?

Or how about we just hire good staff as Testers then we have nothing to worry about. Might even be safe just to not allow them to work on any servers therefore preventing anyone to be biased. Atleast, only on servers that are up

But the thing is, we already have a good staff line-up. :)

I was making a reference to Hawk but yes, I was just looking at whose staff right now and I can see their is quite a nice team at the moment :D Keep up the good work

I bet this pisses Stefan off. he put the server up and everything, and look at what happends.

Hmm...In my opinion, there is a fine line between graal upper management(I mean PW reviewers and such) and just regular PW staff. So why even remotely should someone that is a PW reviewer be working on a server? This means he obviously isn't doing his own job....

It would be like having Bill Clinton as president(I know he isn't anymore!), and also having him mayor of "fill in with name of any town".

It just doesn't make sense to me....

Jinx, Hawk passed it when he was PW Reviewer, he got hired AFTER the PW got up... Stefan made a review on it too and he thinks the server is good... We are fixing ALL the bugs, and many people like it now..
Stefan said that Maloria is a cool Playerworld to play...
Hawk didn't have the intention to work there, because I invited him to be staff there...

Personally I think it should stay up.
I mean it gets a high playercount so the players must like it.

Everyone knows its gonna pass as the PW ppl are gonna go soft and will pass it,
Pls consider this:
As Maloria has been up most ppl hate it.
But then again Hawk deleted all their lvls so theyve had to use old ones


Also about the player count.
Its a new server players want to play it before they make a decision to stay or not its nothing unusual

But it does seem to have higer than the usual new server.
Usually It drops after a day.
Give it a week.
See what the playercoutns like then.

I think it was just the hype in the forums about it that got the players intrested but if they can keep that playercount up for lets say a month, I will hold up my hands and apologise :-D

If in about a month the playercount is still high it should definetly stay.
If it slumps maybe it should be retested.
Like some playerworlds that sit on <10 players at peak times are pretty disapointing.
PW should be tested regurly.
They should have to maintain a high standard all the time.

Hawk passed it just for fun and didn't give it fair evaluation. He's admitted that. Your Playerworld shouldn't be put up just because the PW Reviewer was stupid, it should have a fair review, just like all the other playerworlds.

We had a fair review, because after Hawk did the review, Stefan reviewed it, and he liked it too....
Anyway, we are almost done with bugs... Give us a chance to prove that we deserve to stay up...

It does have some nice features and differnt ways to make money (I cant get enough of making those Banana Smoothies).

Well even if you made that rule, they could simply go under a secret name and still be staff on the server easily.

the MOST of Maloria NPCs are from Dino valley server, ALL quests are from dino valley server, they dont have creativity to make their own levels and NPCs, cyberx said that he made all the NPCs, but yesterday he asked me the script to works only if the player has an Events Admin tag (lol) and it also has words spelled wrong and has some offensive words, in maloria's first day the staffs were sending admins message as "bye" "Im going to take a shower"
some servers got a 9/10 rating and dint pass but maloria passed (why)
in stefan's opinion the server is cool, only in his opinion, how about the players?
the owners also had problems to manage the NPC server and cyberx hired some dumb people just because they are his friend

Working on servers certainly bores me. It's all controlled and I can't get my ideas flowing.
