Maloria The Good and The Bad
 

Kojiro: From what me and Amon-Ra say when it came up was mostly 2d terrans and quests stollen from Dino Valley aka Aramech. We are doing a rating to tell what the people say about this server....


Dino Valley Stuff:

less than a minute on Maloria and already I see something I don't like.

It now asks me to choose my kingdom. It gives no info towards any kingdom, staff better be ready to put up with lots of people wanting account resets or to change kingdoms

well.. the quest above is from Dv.. maloria has great staffs. but everything else should be fixes..

I am wondering WHAT Hawk saw in Maloria that made him give it a 9 out of 10.

It has some things that look pretty good, but it has a fair amount of things I don't like. The path's are orange, they hurt my eyes. The Bush's are practically camoflauged into the ground, you can easily run into them without knowing.

(And Amon-Ra, I cleaned out my PM box, sorry about that.)

See, this is what is going to mess Maloria up.

EVERY SINGLE SERVER WHERE IT SAYS "CHOOSE YOUR KINGDOM" MISERABLY FAILS DUE TO THE FACT THAT NO ONE WANTS TO JOIN ONE.

Just who care about the kingdoms thing, I don't see the point of it considering the fact that there is really major RP elements I have seen on the server yet. Add to the fact that you havd kingdoms, sky diving and fish coolers, they just don't mix at all!

Please also try to improve on your quests. I passed the first quest without dying (something about an element) and the other quest with "slash teh baddies" beat in 5 minutes.

I would also like to know HOW hawk gave this server a 8/10. Considering things like graal 2230, oasis, krynn, this server wouldn't even be close to them.

8/10? Wow. Classic must be over the top then, according to that scale.

According to that rating, I would give Classic a better rating, simply because it has more content. Levels don't make everything up anyways. I understand the server is still developing.. but still.. it's... well dissapointing

The levels all look too much like careless mass production. They're all too plain, minor tiling errors, and some things just didn't fit in. But my major beef is with the interface/HUD. It doesn't look good at all, and it gets in the way at times.

The server is pretty dire. The tileset is nice, but the NPCs are icky ick ick.

Didn't you hear? Hawk saw a new level of theirs that had some thing in it.... he upped his rating to 9/10 last I heard.

The tileset it pretty good but they do need to shape up a bit. When you go to buy fishing stuff you can only buy the package and not seperate items (at least if you try it wont let you). some of the npcs are alright but most of them are kind of easy. I would give it a 4/10

This is how i see it he passs the pw quits then mysteryialy(sp?) gets a job there? coincadence?

I'm hoping to fix out the NPC bugs and make some better ones =/

I saw a spar arena from Dino Valley. At first I thought maybe I was mistaken. But after all the DV stuff I"m sure I"m not.

What I dont like is the tile set it looks like ****. I mea you have one half new made bright colors. Then the old tile sets which is dark in comparison. It all clashes badly and the person who made the bushes and rocks needs kicked in the nuts. Its way to light. It blends into the grass tiles. So if you're running you dont see it until you hit it. Unless you're watching really carefully. They need to use darker detail lines for it. Also the water color makes me want to puke. I could go with other stuf but I"ll leave it with this for now. Not flaming it just things I think need changed.

That I can understand, if your an admin of any sort on a PW on opening day it is complete hell.
