4/10

Nice house design, the path is too plain and the whole level is too plain. Add alot more tiles and stuff to the grass, some trees, bushes, ect.

here i fixed some of the level up to make it look better

Aliendude 06-02-2002 05:34 AM

The dirt looks very plain. Maybe you could add some grass or rocks into it. Plus alot of the grass edges look too straight.

5/10

SinNetherwind 06-02-2002 07:50 AM

better then my 1st level was, but its still bland. keep at it, youll get better. 7/10 fer effort

Clump. Your. Detail.

MysticZhadow 06-02-2002 09:19 AM

^_^

Kojiro: This is good for a begginer I remember when I got into levels and couldnt bearly make an inside or outside and dinit know how to link X.x but for effort i give 6/10 keep building man!!

Aliendude 06-02-2002 02:33 PM

It still needs lots of detail. Add in some rocks to the dirt or more clumps of grass. Like the others said, that is good for a begginer =)

next time you could delete the double post and edit your first one.
But the first screenie I see, is pretty bad, but the house is nice :)
5/10
for your second shot I am gunna lower the rating, #1 you used a predefined lamp, make the base of the lamp, then take an NPC and make its img bluelampani.png and then for script:
NPC Code:

if (playerenters) dontblock;

And the second reason, you used backpal instead of seteffect -_-
use this:
NPC Code:
seteffect 0,0,0,.3;

for about the same effect.Rating 4/10
And for your last screenie, I'll give it 7/10, its better.Remove the dirt holes in the top corner.And make more detail closer together :)

zell12 06-03-2002 04:54 AM

its better than most of the other things on here :rolleyes:
but The only thing I see wrong is that there is no detail, and the dirt path is too big... I don't think people would walk all the way around that to get to that house... put some mroe grass clumps and flowers in there 3/10

It looks better every time you post it, but there are still some very plain areas.

Red: Too plain
Blue: Something I don't like about this area, but I'm not sure what x.x

zell12 06-03-2002 10:33 PM

you really need to shorten up on the dirt... Post the level and let the pro's fix it up so you cn see what we are talking about

nyghtGT 06-03-2002 10:35 PM

The term less is more applies to your dirt/sand usage...
