...put forests all over 2k2's terrain. It's NOT cute and it's NOT funny.
It doesn't do **** except block paths. If you think I'm wrong look at this screenshot of the forest I made, notice how you can't see anything and how hard it would be to walk through that. If I were a ******* I would think it's funny, but I'm not and I don't think it's funny. I made it, took a screenshot, and toalled saying "free trees" inviting ppl to come help me clean up the mess I made. Imagine instead of me it were a group of idiots that had hundreds of seeds that made this, and didn't lag so bad they couldn't fight. You'd be cut off from the farm, and if you tried to clear a path you would be attacked by a group of retards that think "l00k 47 my f0r357 i7 5i u83r l337". If you're gonna make a forest, leave trails for ppl to walk through, or prepare to face the axes of many people who want your damn forest down.

why don't we complane about some morw things? -_-

It's hard to get lost in those trees...and if you somehow do get lost just say something and you'll see your text above them. If they're in your way cut them down -.-;;

I find it difficult to be annoyed by free wood.

What about free wood guarded by PKers when you lag so bad you can't fight worth ****.

It's not the getting lost that gets to me so much, it's that it's hard to walk around in those trees, like a maze and you can't see your way out. The text over head thing would help, but the ppl who plant forests whould still leave trails, that would be best.

Here is a screenshot of a forest I made with some help from this guy. I planted about 100 tree's I dunno how much he planted to be exact... hmm.. It extends WELL BEYOND the screenshot's range. I assure you of this.

One guy was content just to kill the tree's rather than cutting them down.

why not just make the trees go semi-transparent when the player is under them...=D

If you must plant a forest, leave a trail for players to go through, otherwise they might cut it cown.

They do it anyway.

You could just plant your forest in some unvisited corner of the island, though most of the island is in fact occupied by towns, mines or miscallaneous other things.

um, if they plant a forest just cut your OWN path thru witha thing called axe

The tree planting will be changed to be more realistic and prevent making of forests (since they are only meant for getting wood)

stefan!... make a second graphic of the trees polkadotted with transparency... and have the graphic change when the player is under the area of the tree...

THANK YOU in advance for changing the trees to keep ppl from cluttering the landscape with these forests.

Not easy to do when the minute you cut a tree down the makers of the forest gang bash you to defend the trees.

Yeah in real life and on graal there are bad guys.
In reallife there are obstacles to overcome and mazes to wonder through (sometimes literally!) Now lets say your a grou pof bandits who hides in forests and kills people,
wait whats that, you dont have a forest, ok well you make one to fit your enviroment. If you are too damn scared then go around them. Graal isnt supposed to be a utopia. The ability to change the enviroment around you is one of the best thinks on 2k2,

That is true, I plant a few , but never so thickly as the one in the screenshot. That was the first and last time I did that. It's ok to put a few in, just not so many they block paths.

I'm not saying the forests are bad because people hide in them, I was saying they are bad because they are hard to go through and so big it's hard to get around them. They just block paths, and it's really frustrating trying to go through one.

*laughs* and people were wanting to be able to build/destroy houses. I can see it now "OMFG WTF MAN STOP HITING MY HOWSE!@#E!" :p

Would you like a tissue? Regular or extra soft? Chop them down while they hit you, they can't hit very fast so you can chop them down easily.

Would you like a nice hot cup of STFU? Regular or extra thick? When there are 3 or more ppl hitting you and sometimes sending you away from the tree, you can't chop them that easily.

Then GET FRIENDS TO HELP. Crap, man, you really expect to beat 3 guys? They managed to do this because they had the ability to gang up on you.
