No more Zelda Graphics please
 

I've been going arround and I still see PW's using the Zelda : Link to the past Lamp. If I come accross these lamps I will ask that they be promptly removed. These graphics are Copyright Nintendo.

If you're not sure, please see attached.

That looks a little different than the usual one I've seen. It might be recolored differently or something.

That Lamp was taken directly off a screenshot off a Graal Playerworld.

I remember when Graal used to be Zelda Online... ah... those were the days.....multi-colored Links running around.... yes... fun stuff...

Then there was the fact that Nintendo made em change it due to compywrite stuff. Ah well! Now after a few years, we're here!

BTW: Take off the Zelda GFX on the servers. The quality is actually worse than most stuff around.

I only posted one Image, and PWA does not manage Classic (as it is not a playerworld.) Please send a screenshot with the level name to Tyhm, and I'm sure he will look into it.

Does he know about them? I'm sure he will remove them, they are Copyrighted and are illeagle for Graal to have on any of their servers, ESPECIALY official ones. I've never known Tyhm to support Copyrighted or Illeagle material being on Classic. Show us a screenshot of these Graphics on Classic, and tell us the levelname, I'm sure Tyhm will remove them :rolleyes:

Thats why I want to see a screenshot, I play Classic quite a bit and have never seen the Zelda Lamp image in any of the levels...

Post a screenshot of where these lamps are. It shouldn't be too difficult if they're everywhere.

Ever look at mose of Graal's TILESET?!

ive brought that up numerous times.
apprently every tile in the tileset was edited, hence making it non illigal, although i find that hard to believe. looks identical some of the stuff still.

Something tells me you've renamed your own local images to match thoes used on my PWs...perhaps even changed your tileset as well...because I highly doubt Tyme would even put up anything that remotely has Zelda GFX in it :/

But as for the lamps. Well considering they are indeed a part of the tileset. The tileset should be altered thus not allowing people to use the lamps.

Take away the possibility and then there would be no problem :D

hmm, if I'm not mistaken, there is a standing Zelda close to the casltle forum on classic graal

Sorry, but that lamp is not part of the tileset.

But Urizen is on the right track with trying to separate graal from zelda.

In the editor? The only lamp in the editor/tileset is the Graal lamp, which is an edited Zelda one. The one posted above is a straight stolen from Zelda I think

Yes, No more images DIRECTLY from Zelda, such as the Lamp image I posted above. (These are Images people have been using alot to replace the Graal Lamp in the Tileset.)

Zelda images are copyrighted-- thus not allowed. If you see any Images that come from ANY other game besides Graal, on a playerworld, please notify Playerworld Administration about it.

I am going to be a pain in the but of any PW that doesn't remove all copyrighted content ;) I thought I'd give them a chance to look for them on their own before I go arround inspecting.

More things will be discussed once the new Playerworld Administration private forum is up.

As I find them, I remove them. The oldstyle lamps have been deleted (twice), and Zelda has been replaced (twice, and from scratch both times). If she's still appearing other than as the image below, lemme know and I'll nag Stefan and Unixmad until they figure out where it's coming from.

Heads, Swords and Shields were locked until a couple days ago, now that they are unlocked the GFX Admins are going through them.

no stolen graphics from other games, period. make your own stuff for crying out loud.
