Hey guys.... Er1c added a new NPC to the server that checks a player for any weapons or item NPC's that you got and then marks you as a cheater if you have some your not supposed to. Good system, so I guess if you find something you're not supposed to, don't touch it >:]

And thank you, Er1c. Makes your work a lot easier :D (He's banned liek.... 3 people already :eek: )

*Added* Forgot to mention that it checks a different player about every 5 seconds.... really good way of catching people!

Could a list of proscribed items, with pictures, be posted so we don't accidentally get one?

as much as it seems like it, we dont give ourselves stuff. and yesterday a guy was on zormite island, and wasnt supposed to be, i warped to him, said WTF DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING and reset his account. :-) and we banend a guy for like, 30 minutes for talking about having NW

I have a warp ring for the demo thing also.. someone gave it to me.. are you going to ban me for that? Lots of people get things from others.. how are they supposed to know that the npc is illegal? People aren't cheaters because they have items they aren't supposed to. Seeing as how that's impossible anyway since you can't give yourself items on 2k2 unless you're staff. The ring and other items were gotten through a glitch.

I bet the staffs are gonna start giving illegal items to his enemy and frame them :megaeek:

Well, staff are automatically added as a cheater (or at least Er1c told me that when I asked him, lol)

But basically I think what it does is notify an Admin with the power that someone's cheatin, then the admin checks it out, sees if they're staff or not, if they've got comments, etc etc, then does what they have to.

Hehe... I was abandoned on an island... due to.. err... someone...
