Just some misc info on Murasamune
 

Well incase you don't know, every system has been completed, though I am still looking out for glitches. The onlinestartlocal/character design is done...which means..

I am finally working on adding content to Murasamune.

On a subject other then developement, I am currently trying to get a private server so I can work on making my systems compatible online, and create enemies compatible online, and actually hire staff to help me get done alot quicker.

I will be showing screenshots more often now, because I will be getting alot done.

But anywho, heres a little screen of the name selection at start (you can only change your name once, and I will mainly want REAL names, nothing like "THE BONE SMASHER", or even mine, "SOUL BLADE", if seen which such names you might be asked a new name, then we will change it, unless you can relate it to the game)

Yes, yes, I know I need to add some spiffy graphics..I will soon don't worry, its just not needed yet =).

that looks REALLY good, I hope you can get a private server so you can test your scripts out and get the server finished asap

Give more space for letters.

I might add 10 more below it for a last name or something, then people could form "familys" or something. (heh, warrior brothers =P).

Hmm, do that. Not because I want to join the little graal familys. But because my character has a first and last name. (See my account name for more info)

Good then I've done my job.

Graal is Graal2001 and Graal2002.

Graal needs servers which are ACTUALLY DIFFERENT, such as G2230, Oasis, Faheria...Murasamune is different, and not following graal, as EVERY server should be doing.

Faheria's off serverlist. I'm assuming it became private too. I know of 2230, Oasis, and Maloria being private as of now. I feel Murasamune should be too...

I wish my PW could go private and get the "type2" G S e r v e r :D Then I could get rid of my old levels crap (but backing them up first) and then have a much more organized FTP :)

You have my vote to get your own npc server and PlayerWorld spot. If not just to work on levels // serverside npc's

I like this idea! no more stupid fake guilds and stuff, you just name your character. that's the way it should be.

Well there will be a "party system" with up to 6 people, then different partys could form an alliance and kill all the beasts in a long forgotten castle and form a kingdom, or whatever government system they choose...that is kind of like guilds but not exactly.

Not meaning to be a diss but can you say:

"Diablo"

Oh yeah sounds just like it. I wasn't even thinking about Diablo when I created the idea, I was thinking more about how every RPG has a party of characters. I want Murasamune to be like that, only with a party of players.

:(You should have said "I want Murasamune to be like that, only with a partay of players" ;)

And looks nice, just.. I don't know some other background could look better maybe? Black is plain, you should put a background like something in your sig or what 2002 has when you first go on a sect thing so its not plain..

lol yeah thats falls in the "spiffy gfx" category ;). It will be added before release, so don't worry =).

I don't know why you flaunt your server and ideas all over the forums. Just don't complain if other servers use your stuff.

I haven't given nearly all my ideas, these are about...2% of the ideas.

Besides, when Murasamune is released its not like it has some auto "YOU CAN'T USE THIS IDEA!!!" thing.

but when murasamune is released, and if others use ur idea's, at least everyone will know they are yours and u had them first

Can't argue with that, which is why I keep alot of my ideas unknown to the public.
