Well, it's not bad, but it just doesn't look right... try making the colors vary a little more... too much blending makes it look more cylindrical than rectangular/flat

also, try to round it off at the tip of the blade on both sides... like this

Dont use a black outline on the blade, Use a grey that's fairly dark
