Is 2k2 set in the caveman period?
 

Was what I asked myself when I saw the head template. :eek:

The head looks like a cro-magnan man head. Not to sound like a whiner, but I think 2k2 would look better overall if someone fixed up the heads.

Look in the attachment and you will see what I mean.

The head on the left is 2k2, the head on the right is 2k2 that I edited to look more like a human head. See the difference? :)

Here is a picture with hair, the one on left is 2k2, one on right is the one I edited.

I think it looks better anyway.

I like the 2k2 one better, no offense. And I was surprised in this thread, your post was actually kind of small. Instead of your usual 10 paragraphs :p

I prefer Koni's from an absolute standpoint, but maybe the intention with the graphics is to look somewhat different?

I just thought they looked weird.. and whats up with that smaller looking head with the weird dark marks over his eyes? It's not mirrored either, like one side there is a huge dark blurb, and the other it is smaller. Like it was shadow for hair that was never removed or something. Either that, or he has a big protruding forehead on one side like Quasimodo. :D

The people are munchkins, as in no necks, as in no thighs .ect

Come to think of it, I'm not sure since it looks like the head is over the body, the neck part would need to be adjusted then. I was thinking the head was behind the body for some reason.

konidias, for once your work impresses me :-) but it wont look right in the gani unless the next is smaller and wider, and the head is bigger

Personally I like the g2k2 better but I suppose I'd have to see them both in action to be sure.

I agree with you on this, Konidias. :)

Actually it's quite logical we're still cavemen, at least if you consider the average player who doesn't try stuff but instant asks others it fits quite well.
Not too mention the mindless violence and mindless cussing which occasionally occur.

well if graal 2002 is back in the daqy, what about graal 2001, i mean, there are kingdoms and stuff..so it is farther back than graal 2002?

Great stuff Koni! That is the type of stuff I do to... I am very finiky about smaller details which make games better

People keep on being impressed by stuff like my walking effects, I wanted it to fade away instead of just go "poof" after a set amount of walking but it didn't look right :(

LOL Koni when i saw the topic for the this thread I thought it would be about idiot n00bs who spend all there time chopping trees, hitting walls until rocks fall from them, and making weapons so they can hit the walls and get rocks without having there rocks stolen from them. Which is exactly like cavemen!
But anyway the other day I noticed the head and how it looked like a Cave Man Guy (Or to use the politically correct scientific term, "Oogah Boogah Mans") but at first I just thought it looked like the guy had no tissue inside of his face and that his skin was just stretched really tight across his face which accounts for the super defined jaw.

We need evil cloths with evil heads. :D

There's the Darth Maul looking head.. I forgot the number.. 14 or something? He has horns and stuff.

lol you just say "hair skin" in the hair place to have no hair. :P
