i always wanted to make my own, didnt know how.

You get good at graphics, get alot of ideas on how to make a tile set then start making one.

settiledef2 i think been a while since i scripted.... you should have put this under NPC scripting

It's addtiledef2 thats only for part of the tile set though, if you wanna replace the whole thing it's addtiledef

ok sounds kewl too bad i didnt stink at GFX i would make desert tiles and give them to everyone because i am nice.

addtiledef image,levelstart,type;specifys the tiles images for all levels that start with 'levelstart' (0-standard type,1-new order)

addtiledef2 image,levelstart,x,y; replaces parts of the tiles image


i dont under stand how these will turn a npc in to a tile you can use in a level how do i use it

levelstart?????

levelstart?????

Add this into an npc in a level named new8.nw:

addtiledef2 egg.png,new,0,0;

From that, you can look to the tiles at the side, and see an egg in the top left corner. The 'new' part means that the egg will have replaced those topleft tiles in all levels starting with 'new'.

You can lay the egg down as an other tile now, so just edit that code for your purpose. If you still don't understand, just tinker around with it, you'll eventually understand.

You didnt really specify what you wanted all you said was how to I make my own tile set. This should also probably go in the scripting forum ;)
