A woman there was pregnant and it was fortold that the baby would hold great power. Nine months went by and the woman had the child. She named the child Valder. 4 years went by and Valder grew to learn the secret of the village, Magic. His abilities from the start were imence(sp?). King Asuka learned of the village with magic. He wanted this power to himself and started to take the people of the village and torture them to find out how they got this power. Noone would tell him. If he couldn't have the power, then noone could. He let the townsfolk he kidnapped go. He had planned to destroy the village and all it's people. He came to the town with his army and began his attack. The people faught bravely. Valder's parents gave valder to a traveler from another kingdom and asked him to take Valder to safety. The townspeople faught as best they could, but did not prevail. They were slaughtered and the village destroyed. The traveler thought of Valder as his own and raised his as his own son. He taught Valder how to use the blade quite well and how to hone his skills. By the time Valder was 12 he was very skilled with his sword and learned to use his magic quite well. The traveler became very ill. Valder tried as hard as he could but the traveler eventually died. He became enraged and set out to find some way of destroying Dustari. A few years had gone by and Valder had just turned 20. He had been learning a lot from an academy he had enrolled in. He had graduated a few months earlier and set out on a journey. As he was traveling along he was attacked by 7 Zormites and faught them off as best he could but was almost killed untill a group of people showed up and scared the Zormite off. The leader of the group asked if Valder would like to join them, and he agreed. Now in Karakaze Troupe he wishes to find a way to destroy that foul kingdom and get his revenge. |
Henry Barbarossa was the youngest of 4 sons in his family located in the Ruhr valley. For three generations his fathers and fathers before him had taken up the hammer in an attempt to perfect their mastery of the skill of blacksmithing. Henry's father planned to teach it to all of the 4 children he had, but Henry was not a person who was fond of blacksmithing. He would spend much of his time reading books on philosophy, history and literature. In his free time he would, however, craft with his father in a mere effort to please him, and although he was not good at it, he was still, by regular standards, skilled enough to work in the town guild.
By the age of 18 Henry had attended a university in the neighbouring town of Saxony, acquiring extensive knowledge in sociology and literature. During his time there he also had developed another hobby, which was sparring. Though he enjoyed his hobby very much he was not able to carry on with it as he left the university and went out into the real world. He travelled south, spending weeks at a time on the road, looking for work at the local fiefdoms as either as some sort of physiocrat or a kingdom advisor. The living he made through this was modest at best. Finally, he arrived at the kingdom of Tyealia. There he lodged at the palace of the King, and gave numerous lectures and advice. He had grown very fond of the King at the time, and eventually was offered a job as a diplomat. He zealously accepted this offer and began to further expand on his knowledge to learn the art of diplomacy. However, as time grew on, uncontrollable factors had plagued the kingdom. Eventually, internal corruption gave in, and external pressure from neighbouring kingdoms destoryed the kingdom. Using his newly created ties as a diplomat, Henry travelled south to the kingdom of Dustari. There, he offered his services to the King and became a Chancellor. During his time in Dustari, he was fortunate enough to carry on his hobby of sparring and soon enough, he joined the military as a stragetist, becoming a Paladin and soon enough a Field Marshal. Henry Barbarossa now spends his days always trying to find new ways to defend the kingdom he has served for so long, and the Monarch that leads it. |

Aestus Jenar was born to a poor Bomborian merchant, who made his living shuttling lumber between the shores of Dustari and Bomboria. His father was a heavy alchoholic, he spent most most of his wages, and time, in the taverns. He was killed when his ship was captured and destroyed by pirates.
His mother had died due to labor complications while birthing Aestus, and now an orphan, he was thrown into the streets of Bomboria. He was forced to run odd jobs for various citizens, making pitiful wages and barely keeping himself alive. Once, delivering a message, he looked down at the strange symbols covering the paper in fascination. The recipient, a kindly librarian, was amused by his fascination with the writing, and offered him basic lessons in reading and writing, rather then gralats, in exchange for any jobs she had for him. Against his better judgement, he reluctantly agreed. The librarian, surprised by his genuine desire to learn and his raw intelligence, began inventing jobs for him, eager to teach him more every day. She was constantly amazed to see how quickly he mastered difficult concepts. With proper schooling at a University, she was certain he would become one of the brightest minds in the nation. Yet she had little more money than Aestus, whose finances were dwindling as he spent more time at the library then at work. Of particular interest to him was military theory. He would ignore his hunger, reading for hours at a time, analyzing the tactics and battles described. He plunged into defensive and offensive strategies, studying the latest fortifications, and mentally noting where it could be improved. He was appalled by the lack of innovation the generation's commanders had put forth. There was so much he could do, he thought, if only given the chance. At the age of nineteen, having spent nine years in the cold, freezing and starving to further his own makeshift education, he came to the gates of Dustari. There, he felt, was the place to put his skills to use. He was accepted as a squire, and now lives for the chance to prove his worth in battle. |
Guy Alten was born normally, in the village of Dustari.
He was destined to become another Knight, as all the men in his family before him. But while in training as a Squire, Dustari noticed he had slight magical power. He began training as a Mage later. He studies the element Earth, in hopes to become a Dustarian Earth Mage. |
Sisok and Worunatto lived in Dustari, they were two of the craftiest theives to come from there. Their unlawful practices finally caught up with them, and a group of Dustari merchants and soldiers tried to arrest them. during the ensuing battle, a dustari firemage attacked the building, setting it ablaze. the Dustarians got out in time, leaving Woru and Sisok for dead in the inferno. Sisok and Woru escaped from the building, however, but they were badly scarred. Sisok and Woru wandered the world of graal, becoming travelling companions with other outlaws until they came to the desert of Bogenera, were they met a a few young men lead by Tybalt. The two groups merged together to become the Karakaze (Dry Wind) Troupe.

Awesome, now I'll continue it.
Certain problems eventually forced the troupe to leave TrueHeaT's house, and they setted in a small cave nestled in a mining community. Events carried on, Karakaze fought with Dustari time and time again, never really winning or losing, just fighting. Over the years, their beloved cave became less and less habitable. It was falling apart from abuse, had been partially destroyed by dynamite, and was contaminated by poisonous gas for some time. The troupe new they needed to a find a new home. They found it when Tybalt stumbled upon a path to the very same Desert the troupe had formed in. Work has started on a new home base for the Karakaze, and it's almost finished... |
Gryffon Lawreini Musai Durime was born, literally, in Hell. He was a demon, and his mother died giving birth to him. It's known that his father was a demon, but his mother's race is still unknown. His father and some of the rest of his family escaped from the Underworld and arrived in a desert. There they set up a land called Obsydyon, and Gryffon was trained in the arts of Holy Magic and the Arts and Sciences.
Gryffon, on his fourty-second birthday (demons age very slowly) left the desert in hopes of seeking his destiny. He traveled many continents in the next ten years, changing identities each time he arrived in a new land. All the while he was gaining more and more power as a Divine Mage. This all changed on his fifty-third birthday. On that day, gryffon had a vision of a battle called the War of Scion. A voice told him to go there, and to stop it. Not knpowing how he would do it, Gryffon mounted his old Hiyruu, Tygo, and flew to the secret location of the unknown battle. There he found ten powerful mages each casting insanly powerful spells. Instead of the Spells fighting one another, they combined and began to form an unstopable force. The Mages then sacrificed their lives to seal the spells, and the two most powerful, the Mages of Chaos and Order, refused. As their spells still clashed, Gryffon landed,a blade of blue fire forming in his hands. Gryffon struck down the two mages, and their spell was sealed inside him, as was a part of them. After many travels, Gryffon returned home to find Obsydyon burning and destroyed. For the first time ever, Choas eveloped him and he searched out those that destroyed his home, to no avail. He returned to his senses, and returned to one of places he had once traveled to, the only place he could turn to. Dustari. In Dustari, he used his immense knowledge collected in two and a half centuries time to further Dustari science, and then chose to lead the Council of Sages, allowing him to stand back from History for a short while. |
On a cool, summer night in 1632, a young child lay on a firm stone bed. He had just left his mother's womb. His name was to be Adam after the first human son of God. He was born unto a middle-wage woman that's husband had left her. Adam was also abandoned at 14 with his mother in need of help, because of killing a man in a fight. Left alone in 1646, was maybe one of the worst times of his life. Yetduring the time he was able to harden his spirit yet also spy through at a school to learn the regular Math, Spelling, and Language.
Once 17, he left for Nobaka Island hearing that was the last place he was seen. Once at Nobaka, Adam left for the nearest death accounting to check. It had happened. He was dead. With his spirit speared he set out for a trip to Saulan, 30 miles east of Graalica. While sailing a upward drift, the boat was sent to a island 3 miles away from Graal. He landed and now as a Swordsman of Dustari, his story is now unfolding. |

new story-
On the day Guy was born, a war with Dustari had started. His mother was a poor farmwomen, who's husband went off to fight the war. They did not want to fight, the greedy king sent the poor to fight or be killed for "treason" Dustari eventually won, and took over the land. His mother died in exhaustion trying to get him to a new free land. A dustarian Squire took him to the castle, and he was given as an orphan to a woman in the village who wanted a child. Guy has no memory of these incidents. He has been told he is part of a long line of warriors, who died nobilly(sp?) in battle. He grew up through school normally, and became a squire at the age of 13. He trained as any other squire, although he became quite bored at this lifestyle. Because he was not a blood dustarian, this seemed boring to him. Guy became a mage at 14. He was interested in Magic and what it could do. He trains to become a Dustarian Earth Mage as high mages have prophecized that he is strongest in that element. To this day, Guy continues to study. |

one stormy night, a young priestess came rushing and barging into the small town of Harmonia, she stopped in front of the towering church's doors and dropped to her knees and layed something hidden in ragged cloth onto the stone steps, she banged on the door and fled into the nearby forest, never to be heard of again. seconds later, a priest opened the door and looked down to see the crying baby, drinched and crying for its mother. the priest leaned down and brought the child into his arms, he would name the abandoned child Kas, short for Kasuagi. years passed and the boy grew to become strong, the priest wanted him to grow up to become a travelling cleric. Kas regarded his studies and practices as dull and boring, he wanted to live a life of excitement and adventure! this is where his close friend Shrimp came into play, Shrimp wasn't an ordinary child, he was a gifted ninja and could pick any pocket in Harmonia, one day he stumbled upon Kas and attacked him, Kas fell victim to the ninja's dark prowess, during the confrontation the ninja managed to get a hold of the necklace, he pulled with all his might before he fled, the necklace snapped into small pieces and fell to the cold ground. they ceased fightning, an aura lift into the air and Kas's eyes changed to a more red tint, as Shrimp backed away, Kas grabbed a nearby broken limb from a tree and shove it through Shrimp's chest, blood began to trickle down his arms into his palms, they blacked out. to their amazement, they awoke in the very church that Kas had been living in his whole life, but Kas didn't feel anything anymore. Shrimp told Kas that he liked his attitude and wanted to teach him the ropes, let him in on a few secrets, perhaps even join his group of thieves and the infamous Kaelink. the priestess overheard the conversation and walked in, he noticed the blood on Kasuagi's hands and began to shed a tear, he ask Kas to leave the church and never to return, as his deeds were unforgivable. before he left, he told Kas the truth about how he was orphaned as a child, he became enraged and felt for the first time that he was actually alone in the world, so cold and deserted. on the wall was a replica of a sword, his eyes shifted to the blade as he dashed over with lightning speed and grabbed the hilt and swung the long blade, cutting through the air with precision and guiding the edge into the priest's back. revenge was sweet, but the truth was even better. it is now Kasuagi's personal quest to find the truth of his origin and end his stricken nightmare, along side Shrimp and his bandits.

With only a boat and some clothes to his name. Until that fateful day... He crashed on a strange land, known to the locals as "Palmola"... (I'll add more to my story when I develop my character more. I tend to leave my character mysterious, and drop hints about my plot. Eeevil.) |

You have made three, four kingdoms, all with exactly the same story. The same is true for all your characters. Every single time, the only backstory you provide is "Evil." It's stupid as hell, and it pisses me off. Variety is the spice of life, my friend. You don't like posting an RP story? Maybe that's because you can't make one. |

as a matter of fact, he does have an RP story. And a darn good one. And he has'nt made 4 kingdoms. Thats a bit of an exaggeration. |

Brad's a great RPer, his characters were never "OMG I AM THE STRONGEST MAGE IN THE UNIVERSE AND MY PARENTS BEAT ME SO I KILLED THEM" they usually were characters that fit into the storyline :)
|
true true, he is a good RPer, i remember when me and another pirate stumbled our way into the dustari prison along with brad, he offered to trade cloth and such with them, they would of let us out so they could trade cloth and we could escape but the door was broken =(

Too lazy to write an RP story? Then how the **** do you roleplay? The entire point of roleplaying is to create a complex and dynamic character, and then assume his or her identity, acting as the character would based on their own personality traits and experiences. I fail to see how you can do this, if you haven't taken the time to make a real character in the first place. Quote:

Story of Antonio Velázquez:
Born on November 30th, 1099 in Seville where he studied briefly under Francisco Herrera the Elder in 1116 and with Francisco Pacheco 1117 in swordsmenship. In 1119, he married Pacheco's daughter, Juana de Miranda, by whom he had two daughters, born in 1120 and 1122. In 1124 he was summoned by the King's First Minister, Olivares, to Madrid, and in October was appointed royal guard to the King. He remained attached to the Court of Philip II for 19 years, engaged principally in special fighting techniques. In 1133 he met Josa Rubens in Madrid and He travelled to Dustari in 1134 where he study there fighting styles. In 1140 he was made a Knight of the King and he went to Dustari to supervise the marriage ceremonials of the Infant Gregor Warhare. In 1143, King Philip Cordinado II was assasinated by his son Juan Cordinado. His son expelled Antonio and his family was killed. Antonio still at Dustari, when news reached him, he was devistated and had no place to go, so he remain in Dustari. From his skills, he was appointed by Prince Nightrose and now was a Knight of Dustari. |
Malak Zander Giegue
He remembers vague things. He remembers being an infant; wrapped up tightly in a tattered wool blanket, shielded only slightly by the constant freezing wind that slammed up against the sheltering that they were to call their home. His mother, clasping him as tightly as she could although stricken with an illness, smiled weakly at him. He, in return, stared at her; her ebautiful eyes, that he inhereted, and in their reflection, he could see his brother, Zander Giegue; standing at an older age than he, with a dagger clasped in his hand, staring angrily out in the distance. He remembers his mother whispering foreign words to him, kissing his young cheek, and then drifting into the land of forever bliss. Zander took him to a Kingdom to be raised, as he did not have the patience, knowledge, or love to take care of his younger brother. He grew up with but a name, and with no true family. His makeshift family were kind, but too gentle for his born rough taste. Upon reaching the age of 10 years, he ran away, taking with him only a small sack of gold. The made no effort to find him, as they agreed with the rest of the village when it was said Malak was a very, very odd child. He remember training with a man by the name of Grayan. Built like an ox, with white hair covering his face and head. He always had a smirk on his face, and as role models do, influenced Malak to have the same, later on in life. Malak grew older; every day learning the ways of the blade. On his seventeenth birthday, he watched as Grayan was buried, after a war. A war he only vaguely remembers, as well. He's blocked all those memories out .. especially the one of Grayan's body being surrounded by enemies, in an ambush, there only for him. Life, he remembers, moves in flashes, then afterwards. He began travelling on his own; improving the skills taught to him by Grayan. He slowly began to get a name for himself about the land. The Zormites, under the ex rule of King Hiryuu, knew him as the only human that could make Hiryuu smile. The Dustarians, under the ex reign of Asuka, knew him as a wandering Swordsman, who often talked to Asuka, and would then mysteriously leave again. His alignment stayed neutral, and he enjoyed the pleasures of walking long distances to accomplish a task, whether for free or for a sum of money. He remembers being asked to join the ranks of the Dustari. He did, after much thought. He then remembers, soon after, being asked to be the adopted sbrother of the Dustari King, Kamuii Nightrose. Taken aback, he was indeed; but still he accepted. As Prince, he found himself bored and restless. It was not long before he took off his crown and robes, put back on his armour, and wandered again. He has secrets and memories that he shares only with himself. His brother, although he sees him rarely, has stayed the same man he remembers him to be, every time he saw him. And Malak, quite similar to his brother, remains the same quiet and somewhat emotionless warrior he has always been. --- I really hate this story.. my one for Val was a lot better. Oh well. |
Here guy, I was bored when downloading a patch for MOHAA, if the paragraphs look weird it's because I copied it from word.
Greed, power, corruption, skill, and intelligence are those of the Merkado family. 5 simple principals set their family apart from the rest of the town of Santerrain. Gorlon, Jakita, Nightstar, Horge….Merkado. A trader bye the name of Julian Merkado started the Merkado family. He was born of a meager farming family of and snuck into Dustari gardens for even the slightest morsel of food. His father was a seldom and quiet man which made Julian even more tense. Even as a baby he was adventurous. Books say that in one instance Julian snuck into the Dustari castle, kissed the princess, and ran out without even being noticed! Guards stormed through his small town of Koerkol searching for this “peasant”. For weeks they searched and searched but to no avail. It appeared Julian had just..vanished? His parents, Margaret and Samuel just walked away when they had seen their son was gone. Samuel went back to work, and Margaret laughed. They nodded to the guards that if they would ever see their boy again, it would be reported immediately. But where was Julian? During this period of searching, Julian fled to the town of Santerrain located in Samurai territory. Bored and confused, he wandered around until he found an old abandoned shack. There lived an old bandit by the name of Sisok. He befriended this bandit and grew trust for him. He vowed to travel with this man, but he first had to do something. He left his small sack of gold, and the rest of his belongings and hopped on a small raft heading towards Dustari. When he got there he was confused to find his mother and father were gone. Walking to and fro, he asked villagers what had happened to them. With anger in their eyes, they would reply back with “traitors…” Finally, a small man of maybe 55 years old answered my question. “Oh! They have become royalty! It appears your mother has become a mistress for King Zulithe, and your father a guard” he said. Startled, Julian ran to the castle gates demanding to see his father. The guards were confused as Julian screamed “Let me see Samuel Merkado!”. “There is no Samuel Merkado here” they said. “We have but a Samuel Longton who guards the east wing” they added. Julian screamed, “Let me see him!” The guards brought him to the east wing of the castle where he was confused to see his father in plate armor. “D-d-dad…?” he said. Samuel turned around shocked and disgusted and snarled “Take this peasant to the dungeon for the crimes of fondling the princess.” Julian’s eyes widened as a tear fell from his face he mumbled “D…d..dad…w…”. Then he was knocked unconscious. Seven hours later, Julian awakened and was confused. He noticed brass bars around him and he screamed. The sole Merkado locked up in a prison. For days Julian sat there eating only the small portions of Goat Lard that Zulithe sent to the prisoners. It appeared hopeless for Julian until the night of October 16, Princess Lycia’s birthday. It was about 9:30 pm when Julian heard a small voice at his cell window. It was Sisok! Julian woke up in excitement and mumbled “Get me out of here!” Sisok replied, “We are working on it.” About 5 minutes later Sisok’s voice came back “Julian, watch out!” In an instant, a large explosion was heard. A small hole was made in Julian’s cell! Tightly and securely, Julian squeezed his way out of the hole. He was surprised to see another man along with Sisok. Julian would later find out that this man was the leader of the Karakaze Troupe, Tybalt. Julian stayed with the Karakaze troupe for months and learned the arts of deception, trickery, and thievery. He grew the loving bond for the art of being a merchant and decided that for his role. As time progressed, Julian slowly changed, becoming greedy and awestruck on gaining riches. He had the “power” of persuasion and he knew how to use it. He could convince anyone, to do nearly anything by using only his knowledge. On a troupe trip to the lands of Antora, Julian met a young woman by the name of Morna and he was instantly infatuated. His eyes were locked on her and every move she made. For days the troupe stayed at Antora and Julian grew closer and closer to Morna. The night before the troupe set off, magic took its place. A child would be given birth to…in nine months. The Karakaze Troupe along with Julian walked off back to their small hut in Santerrain and Julian knew nothing of this child. For years they traveled until once again they stopped at Antora for a campsite. Julian remembered this woman and went back to greet her. Julian noticed the child, and grew awestruck. He picked up the boy (now 5) and asked Morna what his name was. She replied, Brad, Brad Merkado. They both smiled and spoke for hours. Julian was to take Brad in and raise him with the Karakaze Troupe. For 13 years Brad was trained in the art of trading and thievery and he mastered it at a young age. Being quick and nimble, Brad became one of the strongest links of the Karakaze Troupe. His elders being Tybalt, Julian, and Sisok made Brad highly trained. For Brad’s 18th birthday the troupe traveled to the Ye Coleon Pub located in the lands of Dustari. The celebration was going great until two Dustari guards walked into the pub. One was Julian’s father, the other being an unknown guard. Samuel was now over 60 years old, but he appeared 40 at most. His arms were huge and he stood gallant over the pub. He walked towards Brad snickering. Brad walked back slowly and confused. Julian stood in front of him sturdy and strong. Once again Samuel laughed and said, “Move, or I will move you.” Julian remained standing in front of his father. Samuel said, “Fine, have it your way”. In an instant, a spear was jabbed into the heart of Julian. He fell to the floor and was on his last breath. Tears rushed to Brad’s eyes as he charged Samuel. Sisok held Brad back for they all were unarmed. The two guards galloped away and laughed to one another. Brad stood there with tears in his eyes vouching revenge on the scum who did this. We now join Brad today, 6 months after the occurrences at the pub. He still promises to get his revenge on the Dustari scum who killed his father, but his greedy ways still kick in. Wealth or revenge? Brad wants both. |
I finally got around to finishing it.
Its more like a very short story though. I tried to make it as short as possible so people dont have to spend an hour reading it. Of course I had to change my name as "TDM" doesnt sound too good for a roleplay name. I managed to fit it into my rp bio though. :) http://www.geocities.com/kamalasrpbio |
Nothing is known about Sin Netherwind. Where he was born, if he was even born or just.. spawned from some dark void in history. Nobody knows his age, his origen, his past... Not even is it known if Sin is human...
All that is known is that Sin is a destructive evil with power greater then most comprehend, using a blade that could only have been created in the darkest reaches of the abyss, thousands and possibly more have fallen to him, all killed without remorse. Yet at the same time and strangeley enough, Sin fights with the honor of a Knight of the Old ways. Never would he strike down a woman, nor would he prey on those weaker then him or strike someone wounded.. The rest of the origen of Sin Netherwind is yet to be discovered. |
