About 5 minutes ago I logged on my staff account, went to pm a guy, it said i was in trial mode, so please tell me what up?

All old staff accounts work for 1 month on the classic servers.

old staff accounts = adminlevel=1, blocked=0

So does this mean we will get new staff accounts? or does this mean that we will have to pay for our staff accounts?

Read the other thread. Stefan has already stated that staff acounts will have one free month of play on their server, and will then have to be upgraded.

In the Playerworlds forum he said in Server Options to add a staff= command, you add the playeraccounts there. thats what you will use for your new Staff Accounts. But, they got to be upgraded... which is stupid -_-

I see the staff= thing, but what exactly do you mean they have to be upgraded? Someone has to pay $15 for them?

for the player accounts yes, because, you wouldn't expect to play for free just because your staff... you don't see me going around not paying for SC because im staff (If I was)

Let me make sure I got this (I'm a bit slow)...

1. If you are a normal player, you must pay $15 to get your account upgraded so you can play on servers.

2. If you have a staff account, it must appear in a staff listing in server options somewhere, and that will let you play the server for a month.

3. After a month with the staff account, you have to pay $15 to play on that server.

That doesn't sound quite right... That's the impression I got though. Please correct it as you see fit.

If you have an account that is already upgraded as in 'BBflat' a server admin can add it to the staff= in server options and you can use it with rc, etc. Also, I think that it will be quite good for when you have faqs and you don't want to give a staff account to all faqs so you have them be staff and make a "warpto npc" well you add them to staff= and you don't have to make that "warpto npc" anymore.

That makes me a sad Tyhm. We had enough corruption when it was just Peach and Zorro and Nightlord and Olorin and Bear and a few others who had godly powers on their civilian accounts. Now EVERYONE has to have godly powers on their civilian accounts. Not only no Server_Division## accounts (which I liked), but now no Name_GP accounts neither.

If I lose the entirety of the LAT because of this, I am going to be irked greatly.

staff= "Trial Phase Account"
does not work. It won't allow the player to log onto the server, or the RC to the server.


Like, say, Torankusu was a trial phase account,
and Graal2001 had staff=Torankusu
I would not be able to log into P2P, and I'd still be a Ghost on Graal2001. Same way for Free/'Classic' servers.

I'm Global Staff.

Oh, I thought ghost mode was going to be eradicated, and the player would just have his attributes reset every time he logged on/off. I personally think a lot of confusion will be created when people don't have the basic Server_Position## thing. It also opens possibilities for people to be hacking more easily, though I heard that's rather impossible now.
