More Spar Tatics
It would be good if Graal added some more spar tatics. The basic swinging of the sword is just to boring and easy. I'm not proposing anything complex, maybe you can actually use you're shield to block attacks (other then arrows), and you can attack the top (head), middle (chest) and bottom (legs). And maybe even having swords stop at eachother when struct together. It wouldn't be that complex, I wouldn't think so... It would make graal a hell of a lot more fun. Post your ideas.

It'd be alot more fun, but it probably is more complex, to both, the user and Stefan.

It could be done with just something like keydown and ganis and such, like the bamboo poll (not exactly of course just along the same lines), except it's your sword. |

I also think it would be great if we could spar with the bamboo sticks, seen as though they already have different tactics

once the keyboards stuff comes out tommrow im gonna make some pretty kewl stuff that involves attacking/sparring other ppl.
 |
We already have stuff like shields you can hold in front of you in Graal2002 so we can make Graal2001 more interesting too, the standard sword swing has only be added for compatibility but will be extended (different standard weapons on graal2001 etc.)

Whatever you do, don't change sparring tatics on Classic, or I'll go crazy. That's one thing I don't want to see change on graal, classic sparring.

There would be too much to know if you had to do that. It would make sparring too confusing. But, I guess if you got used to it.. then it wouldn't be that bad.

Hard for me to explain but it would be cool if you could hold your shield at three angles. Example: High (Head), Medium (Chest), Low (legs). And people can strike their swords at those positions to. Also some sort of jab to go along with the swinging of the sword. And possibly sword will clang together when they hit eachother (instead of just going through). |
