Unknown Commands! :)
Well I have been using these because I know of them from people on the "inside" however I thought it was quite unfair of me to keep them all for myself, so here they are. These commands all seem to work on upgraded servers on the serverside section of the npc, since it requires to be serverside, it cannot be used on servers that are not upgraded, sorry.
NPC Code: - This will send the specified text to the rc chat sent by npc server, commands like: sendtorc /open accountname; work and open the account, however its probably not a good idea to open multifarious accounts, because they stay open so if you open the rights, account, attributes and other stuff, etc then it could possibly lag your npc server. I had a thought that this could be used to make something that many npc scripters have worked on, a level updater npc for non staff accounts, sendtorc /updatelevels #L; so that could be useful. Hope so. NPC Code: - This will send the specified text to the nc chat and anyone on nc can see it, I believe it can also be used with /clearnpcs levelname; so who knows, fun experimenting with. NPC Code: - This is used in a with, for example: NPC Code: Also if you wish to send mass messages with it, you can used it in an allplayers[i] with like so: NPC Code: I have found this command to be useful for announcing events, etc. The pm comes from npc server, so it looks like NPC-Server is sending a private message to you. I have failed to remember how, but you need to make sure that you have no commas unless you use a replacement type loop to replace commas with their correct #K() or ascii(). Also mass messages can lag the npc server quite badly (obviously), so watch out, and have fun. |

Yesh it is quite useful, especially when you want to flood rc, not that I have ever done that, well maybe, when I was doing testing. Yay thanks Kai, it has been a useful command.

u and ur stupid testing stuff PA. Ne0 constantly pms me from npcserver with ur script. x.x

Lol 5 minutes later! Wow man that rox.
Hey he added something for me once =/ although it was taken out. What is so bad about transparent body colors? heh. Maybe it's back I'll have to check lol. I do recall Galen despised the idea though. I believe it was Galen. |
The ToRC command can be VERY useful. Like when you give ET's or GP's warpers, have it display in RC that they warped players! I'm going to have to edit my event setter to include torc #a has set event. then the event warper to #a has used event warper. Just to kind of keep tabs on things. This way we can keep on eye on the inferior ;) j/k, staff. Like the cadets and such. Or on servers where the staff don't always have RC's. VERY handy. Thanx a lot m8. NC chat? W/ everything going p2p it seems i should have bothered to understand P2p better! :(

o? That isn't cool then ;) Heh. Which would then be like only p2p, can you make certain NPC's straight serverside?

Yes Stefan has amazed me too. One time he told me he was working on some new code and that he would update Andor's NPC-Server whgen he was finished, and like 5 minutes later he was already updating NPC-Server, which is cool, he must have very organized coding practices. Also Shifter, you should really get someone to teach you about upgraded scripting, it can be usedful, and if you work on server with NPC-Server, you will need help, believe me, it took 4 people (Kaimetsu, Er1c, Stefan, and Shadow Knight) people for me to fully get it, and I learned PHP in about 1 night (www.php.net is my savior).

When coding, it doesn't take a whole bunch of code to add a couple of commands. Once you have written the game, updates come easy.

Stefan is just great in general
i remember when i asked him for string arrays, but he nevered answered me, then i found it in the next few versions, :D he r0x0rs is what i think you people say |

anyways, i disagree with you about this point Stefan is a human being and should have a life just like everyone else, sure, it's great that he spends lots of time updated it, but it shouldn't be his top priority |
String arrays are AWESOME. I wanted those, too, but I get so fed up trying to contact Stefan. I guess he will see it if i post it on the forums, though. I also found a bug where putobject wouldn't work unless you tried to place an object in the current selection in the dropdown menu. In other words, you couldn't do this...
putboject Vase,30,30; if you currently had the CastleInside list selected. I don't know the object/list off the top of my head, but you get the idea. I was never able to contact him, but I see now that it is fixed. Yay, Stefan. The only thing I don't like is how hard it is to contact him. |
well, putobject isn't supported online anyways, so it really wouldn't matter

well, im not saying that he shouldn't work on graal
we shouldn't expect him to be 110% devoted to graal and nothing else |
