can you tell me the difference between Adobe Photoshop and Image ready?

Adobe is for starting out i think... It has more tools in the tool bar... in Image ready you can make animated graphics and JAVA Rollovers...

Howq can I start a new GFX..but when I want to make a new gfx it makes it in a small square how cna i make it bigger?

When u start a new drawing it should ask u what size u want it in pixels:
Default : 32 by 32 Pixels
Its just understanding it
I use Paint shop pro 7 but my friend has adobe and thats how he does it

arh I have photo shop 6 and everytime I open it it freezes my computer at "Reading Fonts"

I'm not sure if this is what your talking about but to make it bigger you ajust the length of the pixels if you want it 100 by 100 pixels you put 100 in width and height

Or you could be talking about how you expand it in which case you go to the corner of the image or the sides and drag to make it bigger or smaller.
