Stop It!
 

Well I am not saying it's anyone in particular that posts here that's doing it BUT someone is signing my email ([email protected]) for things up like infectious diseases newsletters, trip winning letters, surveys, etc. And [email protected] has been SPAMMED with viruses and I am not amused :(
Anyone who knows who's doing it make them stop~ :(

Viruses are really just lately..Used to maybe get 1 or 2 but out of 20, 13 were viruses :(

Hmm...I've been getting ALOT of Virus e-mails but I don't think it's from Graal.....

DeathChill, someone appears to be stalking us both. I have been signed up for daily porn pics, TechTV newsletters, etc., and they track me down every time I change e-mail.

For one, some email providers give your email address out to tons of different companies (especially the free ones, how do you think they are able to stay free?)

Like Hotmail for example, I signed up with an account there, never used the email address anywhere, and when I checked it recently, I had 1000+ emails from all different things. I NEVER gave it to anyone, all I did was sign up for an account.

My [email protected] email is good though. I use netaddress.com and it has lots of protection features. 99.999% of all my spam mail goes directly into my junk mail folder. I could have it auto-delete the junk as soon as it's recieved, but I get a kick out of seeing some of the stupid stuff people send me.

I got one stefan impersonator that sent the same mail about 30 times, which in turn, I clicked one X and pressed (empty trash) and they were gone. So it doesn't bother me at all.

My email also detects email trojan viruses for me. (not like they are hard to spot anyway) :)

Hooray @ my not-so-free e-mail. Haven't got an ounce of spam I didn't deserve.

I have hotmail and I get porn spam from non-existant hotmail accounts. I know they don't exist because I tried bombing one and it didn't send because the email doesn't 'exist'. Oh well I barely use email anyways.

And what's so bad about techTV newsletters? o.0 =P

I dont download ANY attachments I get from emails unless the email is from someone I know in real life.

Well... duh. I never take attachments.. I take down the email and have them send it to me via MSN or something. (more secure.. less chance of viruses)

There's another possibility. What if someone had the account before you?

Christ man, change your email address. Or get one of them there spam shield programs. x.X
