I remember the days before ghost mode everyone was improving their scripting and enjoying graal. It was based on fun. So your saying, we should stop this, FORCE STEFAN AND UNIXMAD to get BETTER SERVERS that cost SUPER AMOUNTS OF MONEY which now they DO NOT HAVE. Fire the REST OF THE TEAM working AT FRANCE with them. I think he's referring to the lack of DECENT updates on the so-called "advanced pay to play" servers. I mean c'mon. The 2k2 bodies on 2k1.. are fine. Forcing people to use them? errr yea.... this is 2k1 last I knew. Same thing as all that was posted in one of hte other threads. There's too many NPCs being 'tested' on 2k1.. and not enough actual progress.

What happened to the cool things like "Bomy moon scorching the surface of graal" and "Evil admins attack players with strange rifles"? That's the sort of stuff that made me want to subscribe... Now I would be happy with just the 15 dollar stuff (as classic is getting way more decent updates right now than 2k1... sorry guys but it's true).

Besides, if you haven't noticed changes in the last 3 years, your comparing abilities are obviously below average.

I want you to tell me two numbers:

1) How much money you think Graal's servers cost to run.
2) How much money you think Graal gets from players if it lets them play for free.

There's just too much legacy stuff. Poor organisation and suchlike. I spent about an hour trying to fix a class called "phdoor_out" once before I realised that it had actually been replaced by "phdoor" and not actually deleted. Falados just left it there cluttering up the class list :mad:

And then there's the huge focus on staff weapons. I could hardly find code to fix it because I was always dodging around the code for kill-them-in-one reaper scythes or Staff of Light stuff :mad:
