Poll on PW's after May 1st
 

Well, you all know that plenty of people are quitting Graal because they refuse to pay.I think it's all over-rated. I bet there will be about half the people that are normally on Graal, come May 1st. But for some servers, those are very much needed people. What do you think?

yes. most people is too greedy to play $15 for a lifetime :/

we need easier method of payment other than Paypal and telephone bill, by the way do they charge you for long distance call?

Non-P2P populations will go down, but nobody cares about those. P2P servers will see an increase in players, though.

Its bound to happen, and not necessicarily because of greed, some people can't or whatever. Anyway, look forward to seeing some good servers die and some bad servers die.

Your all going to far. Some servers never have any more than RCs on them and they dont die so what makes you think they will die? That is a good point, will you pay long distance though?

I am talking about servers like Doomsday and Enigma, X and BAbylon, they barely have anyone playing them now, imagine on May 1st what they will be like? I think it would be a good idea to shut the non-populated servers down

Most people probably think" Well, seen as though I am paying 15 anyway for free servers, I might as well pay 60 or 20 for 1 year or three months respectively, to go p2p."

I though the registration covered all the playerworlds, even the P2P ones.

Nope. P2P and the other thing are seperate. G2k1 and G2k2 will be p2p....but I wonder when the PWs people have been working on (Oasis, Faheria, Murasamune, G2230) if they will be P2P as well? If not, alot of people will be very pleased I think, but would they be able to catch it might make themself more money if they made them pay? I'm really curious about this.

Uh telephone IS the easiest way. I doubt it will be long distance, probably a 1-800 number.

I believe this is how it works:

Pay 15 dollars for the Classic registration and you get:
-Lifetime access to all non-p2p servers.

Pay for a P2P upgrade and you get:
-Lifetime access to all non-p2p servers.
-Normal monthly access to p2p servers (depending on what offer you get (3,6,12 months)

I think it should just be made so that if you buy a 3 month p2p account, you get lifetime access to all non-p2p servers, and just cut out the 15 dollar classic registration all together. Who would pay 15 dollars for a classic registration when you can pay less or about the same for the same thing plus 3 months of p2p graal?

I'm positive all current p2p servers will still only be accessable with p2p upgraded accounts. The classic registration of 15 dollars is only to have a lifetime access to all non-p2p servers but the servers will have a few more features I guess.

No thats not how it will be. Pay 15 dollars for every server other then G2k1 and G2k2. Every other server, even current P2P ones, will no longer be on monthly payment. Additionally they will keep the NPC Servers, and every P2P feature, and current free servers will have the option of getting a NPC Server, and will be allowed to use every P2P function.

If that's true, it's a really silly idea. :p Who would ever pay for an upgrade again? You mean now paying for an upgrade means all you're getting extra is 2k1 and 2k2? I think we'll be seeing NO players on those two servers in the coming months if that is the case.

For one, my account has about 2 months left (a little over) and if this is the way it will work, I will definitely have no need to upgrade as I will probably be bored with 2k2 (if it comes out before then) and I'm already sick of 2k1..

My question is this, with these changes, does that mean certain new things on 2k1 and 2k2 won't be allowed on other p2p servers? Like new commands and such? Because that would be incredibly stupid and unfair to the pw owners that want to make their pw better using the new features.

Heh eveyr G2k1 and G2k2 can do, any other PW will have the ability to do.

I think they figure no PW will ever be able to match up to the quality of g2k1 and g2k2, considering no PW ever has...

I plan to prove them wrong of course, and I'm sure you do to...

Only thing I'm not sure of is the release of the 3d terrain...if we will be allowed to use it or not. Either way I don't really plan on using it.

ANd konidias, your serverlist will only be true if good PWs come out soon.
