Has graal finally come to an end?
Everyone is quitting, and I think it is because of the lack of work that has been put into Graal2001, not so much laziness, but the lack of staff, and perhaps time.
Will people even come back for the oh-so-promised 2002?
Of course there will never be 0 people on graal, but it's getting pretty low everyday.
Post your comments here about what is going to happen and your opinion on this all.

There were around 6 people on tonight at 9 PM PST, so I'll say the end of 2k1, is coming around in the near future, if not now. :(

I remember those days...

I remember opening the player list and going, "Wow, 2K1 only has around 120 something players. Much less lag. I wish I had a P2P account so I could play there, instead of playing Classic with 300+ people." :( :(

Ever since I got a hold of a P2P account, the max I have seen is 110, and that was during a hat sale. Usually it's around 50 =\

bahaha I was around when the game was first started out and we had like 20-30 people on a good day... bwhahaaha... don't ask for a version... I can tell you what events were happening at the time and that soon after real world left the server but thats all your getting(yes THE server... well there were a few others if you knew the ips... ******* wasn't public/not public anymore yet)

I'm still here, and I'm the only person who matters, so don't sweat it. ^_~

I've seen 4 on one time. That was ages ago though.

All the people that "quit" will be back in a week.

Well, I don't think we're talking about the people who quit recently, we're talking about how the population of 2k1 is dwindling as a whole.

its still better than it once was... so don't panic... time to worry.. but not enough to panic

As I am typing this, there are 4 people on, besides myself and the NPC Server.. :(

Posting later in the night is slower then it used to be too.

Yes, I have noticed that also.

And now only 2 people other than me and Mr. NPC Server are on 2k1. :( It's almost like playing single player...

come to classic, always 60+ people :D

Just like when I go on 2k1 when there is DNS problems.

I think people just got bored of 2k1, and wanted something new, well, thats what needs to happen, but its hard, I'll try my best to do more work for 2k1, but no one cares anymore really, but its still fun for me.


Why not start going on more and having more social events, a graphical chat program more than gralats this and gralats that.

i think the gralats system really ruined g2k1, i mean it's like i wont give you 1 rupee, cuz i need my 2398494 for house/hat/bomy

i have a cc, but since im 14 i can't pay with it, and if i ask my dad he shows me the middle finger :grrr:

Um, how can you have a credit card when you're 14? I believe you have to be 18 or over. You can, on the other hand, have a DEBIT card, which is different to a credit card, and you cannot use them to pay for graal. I have one, it's in my room somwhere, hasn't been activated for about a year. :)

Graal can't die, its like a bad disease, naw, a good disease...in some ways. But yeah, and Birdbird, *zombie like look in his eyes* "Graalets this, Graalets that!". :p

Another reason is because of the empty promises we have been getting. Such as:
The 5720750327 level desert
The Staff of Light
Gen 4 bomy
Baddies
Those crystal things
etc....

I would just like to point out that many,many newbies have been signing up as of late.

the main reason for the graal downfall is no updates at all. I have seen people sit and wait for 2k2 but nothing happens so they quit. also graal is very addictive so when you start playing you play and then once you get bored you just "stop". I used to be so addictive I never went out or did my homework at all. then I quit for 2-3 months and now I can control myself with this. Stefan should release 2k2 already and some of the boring PWs should be taken down and maybe stefan should tell Psyker to lighten up on the reviews maybe pass 1 every now and then.

Through paypal you can use debit.

2k1 is dying but I think that graal is still mainting about the same overall amount of players. Classic during peak times is always 240-280 people. At night it's 80-120. Valikorlia, UN, N-Pulse, and other playerworlds are getting more players too. I never thought I'd see 120 people on Val. But I saw that a few days ago when I logged in. So yea people getting bored of 2k1.. then they're trying out some of hte other servers out there... starting fresh maybe.

i now find myself going on npulse more then 2001...

Instead of making a quest for the staff of light since staff are either to lazy/busy than just make it so when a player comes online they automatically get it in their inventory instead of having to wait another 5 years to get it or just
RELEASE G2K2!!!

Actually I started the desert a couple weeks ago although its not going to be quite that big I do intend to have it a decent size. My best estimate for having it done is about a week it just depends on how busy I am this week and I need to get a couple graphics from bird bird. How big do you guys think it should be (please be realistic)

Well... I don't have a good estimate for a size but I have an Idea you could add into the levels... There is a kingdom coming out soon called Obsydyon and it would be nice to have a Desert Kingdom? Maybe you add this in ... I'll get Gryffon To post what he would really want in it. But I think so far sort of an Egyptyan sort of deal, sounds good, Sorta -.-?

Yes but I wasnt working for G2k1 long ago and I'm doing this of my own accord because I know it needed done so I'm going through and making things that I've seen needed made one by one. Prioratizing I woul see about doing the staff of light quest but I have no idea whats needed for that so I cant just very well do it on my own now can I? I mean if you prefer I can just delete the whole thing and forget about it since technically it wasnt even assigned to me but it was there and just needed doing.

I was on 2k1 myself again today.
The only other people on were NPC Server and Stefan on RC.
But he came on his player and messed about on the elephant with me.
Then a few more players came n and we played CS.
So I suppose you could say its kinda betterlike when it was first released and stefan held events etc.
