Problem with RC(s)...? Please read Stefan/unixmad
 

It seems some of the RC accounts are bugged...?
Some Providence RC accounts don't have NC checked in their rights, but can connect to NC anyway, and those accounts also do not have set the player attributes checked, but can edit attributes.

Could this be a hack or just a bug?
If anyone could, please come to Providence and check the accounts. I checked RC logs and it even proves that they can do such things.

Looks like there's a program to change RC levels...?

There a difference between being able to see the NC buttons
and being able to use them

Then why are they able to upload NPCs onto NC if they don't have NC? There have been things taken away from people also.
Is there anyway to prevent them from changing their levels?

My guess is just fire him/her.

Servers should deal with their own issues unless the problem is spreading to other servers

Well the (npcserver) was on most of the pay-to-play servers, and I figured the RC problem was too.

I can't wait for the never-ending Graal updates so something is "fixed" in the next one. :rolleyes: I understand you have a life, but this is kind of like a President:

Yes I know, I have check the stuff on that server and all I found was that someone had *.*.*.* as ip range and leaked the password

Unless I'm mistaken, that's practically making it a requirement that server owners have set ip ranges... unless "full" is as in "level 5 RC"...

Setting an IP range is easy even if you have multiple IP's like me you just add a comma after the ip and then add another one you dont even need the full ip for example 206.111.*.*, 306.111.*.* simple.

IP ranges should be set for all RC's not just the high level ones.

But what about some people with a Dial-up. It Changes everytime you connect. I always thought that there was a gate ip number that never changes, mabey if it doesn't, you can use that one o.O

I use dialup. The IP is different every time you log on to an extent. For example my IP has 3 differnt base numbers it always starts with. such as (not really them for security) 301.555.*.*
302.555.*.* and 303.555.*.* it switches between these three every time I dialup. So if you include all three in the ip range and seperate each with a , Then your RC will work fine and be set to that computer only. Unless some one happens to live near them and they happen to get the first part of the IP the same. But the odds are really in your favor.

You don't HAVE to. Here's the deal. Staff accounts will be upgraded for a month. After that, only upgraded accounts will be able to play on servers, INCLUDING staff ones. In other words, if you want to play on a server with your staff account, it will have to be upgraded. For most people, that means using their player account.

You can't even get on RC without upgrading it -_-

That's just wrong (not meaning incorrect). RC isn't even playing. RC is pure work (besides talking and such).

Well, this caused my staff to leave, and I don't blame them.

stefan i think is cleverly filtering out the free accounts to be used as just trial accoutns like they are supposed to be, every version of graal that he releases he limits the use of free accoutns more and more, now only p2p can have staff positions, which is fair enough. i think hes making a wise and clever business sense move.

When exactly did graal start to suck?
