Sticky: Quit with the stickys
 

there are too many stickys on this forum now, for rather stupid reasons. it seems that nearly everyforum category here has a sticky or two, or three now.

Sorry. But with the topic closed I want to make sure it is read.

I will unsticky it tomorrow.

Why add another sticky when you can just PM the account?

I have yet to understand why people are always like "BY ALL U LAMERZ I QUIT" But yet continue to stay and post on this message board with the very same people that they call lamers, newbies, losers, etc. I think from now on when people say things like "OMG I QUIT BYE" I'm going to start banning their forum accounts, since obviously they won't be needing them anymore.

Why would the sticky be read by the person it was intended for?

Edit: Misread.

I'm sure a post would be read by a particular person, whereas with a shared account a forum pm might be recieved and read by the wrong person, who then forgets to inform the intended recipent (sp)

Nobody reads the stickies anyway, I bet all the hits are from AlkarenHyralt refreshing the page about 100 times. AlkarenHyralt should make a PM that says "FOR JACK:blah" or get Jack's e-mail, I think that the guy only makes 50,000 stickies because he is OBSESSED :megaeek: :megaeek: :megaeek: This may be even worse than TRUEHEAT banning me a LONG time ago for AIM stuff!

Good job, lad, on deleting that useless message.

Especially since a closed thread is on the fifth page by the next time someone logs on, preferrably jack.

I think I've seen forums daily which have around 6 stickys per topic, so it really wasn't all that much.

He's a prime example--How many times has he "resigned" from Graal2001? Like... 4?
How many times has he quit Graal? A million?

Loriel quit in one swift snap, while the rest of us continue to rot away and "quit" then come back. Lather, Rinse, Maim. Repeat steps 1-3 if needed.

Antago is a much better example. :P

Antago had barely anything to lose. Birdbird and Hype are very similar. They quit, come back 2 days later, and have their job back like they said nothing.

Even I've "quit" a few times. *sniff*
I need a Graal patch for my arm. *shudders*
Or Graaloret gum to help me GRADUALLY quit.

Yeah, that's pretty true. People should start accepting the consequences that come with saying they quit, but obviously that doesn't apply to Graal?

But the stickies there actually have a point ;)
