WHats going on here...???? Last year over 100 people were on at night and on weakends peaks of 120, no we hardley break 60 and average of 40's. Something is eating our players, or maybe its a assasin killing us one by one? Hopefully some adminsd will disappear so we can actually have some one that will get the job done, like the staff of light on g2k1? where the hell is it. i heard very very very soon?? bah its been a month

Some quit, some didn't bother to reupgrade, some cheated, and one or two got framed.

The fact that Classic is better than 2001, so players flock back to Classic, like me.

ghostsamurai 04-03-2002 07:10 AM

wait till School and the such end, then there will be a reflux. Plus, there hasnt been a "next new thing" in such a long time.

AlexH 04-03-2002 07:12 AM

Yea we need G2K2
But I asked Stefan if it would but out by Saturday but he said prbally not. :(

Well, it's because Unix cracked down on all those "! OMG, I WILL UPGRADE UR ACCT 4 100G!!!" people using fake CCs, so if you are wondering, Graal isn't actually losing that much money, actually they are probably gaining it from the price hike.

Oh, and the endless mines of doom need to come out:p

Yea but the price hike is causing alot of people to quit. Read my other post

"What's going to happen..."

and read what I posted at the end. I think that would help alot.

Constinople 04-03-2002 08:24 AM

Endless Mines Of Doom?
What a horrible name. =/

SkooL 04-03-2002 08:30 AM

Eh.

Things suck, granted. I'm not one to say as I've been gone for a week or so, but it seems like there hasn't been much new stuff added, 2k2 isn't out, players honestly just don't have the incentive to upgrade, or in the case of old school players, re-upgrade their accounts anymore, especially with the higher prices, ne...

Domini 04-03-2002 08:31 AM

All of the CC frauds.

Personally, I think the staff is to blame. In the last few weeks we saw planety of updates now we haven't seen jack. The updates we saw in March clearly demonstrate that even an older server such as Graal 2001 has potential to draw players in. But before March (up until after Stefan left to work on 2k2) and now we see that it's the most boring place to be. If it wasn't for role-playing, I wouldn't be on 2001 either, I don't blame people who are leaving.

One good example is the staff of light. So on Feburary 22nd it was 95% done, but it's April 2nd and it's still not out. I'm sorry, but people aren't going to wait for a stupid NPC for two months.

I h8 classic. It lags too much. :grrr:

Shorty2Dope 04-03-2002 01:03 PM

g2k1 is crap, the staff do nothing for the players and dont work as a team..

If 2k2 is not out soon, I am not reupgrading.

Sparkplug 04-03-2002 01:17 PM

g2k1 is dying fast. :( :( We need 2k2 :o :o

Mr. Bear 04-03-2002 01:31 PM

Mr. Bear, prophet.

Mr. Bear 04-03-2002 01:34 PM

its ashame this is happening to graal.

TrueHeaT 04-03-2002 01:35 PM

it's only because they caught a whole bunch of people doing credit card fraud, like icehawk said.

its natural i suppose, like rome, it had its peak, but it BURNED in the end.

Pinktaco 04-03-2002 01:37 PM

It's not the staff one bit, it's the players, the cc frauds, but a staff is a big problem, but not the biggest out there.

true, only the strongest survive.

TrueHeaT 04-03-2002 01:41 PM

i guess you guys like to ignore the posts that actually make sense

Mr. Bear 04-03-2002 02:04 PM

Well its actually moving up, its like the economy.
Everything has its highs and lows. I'm sure when stefan releases his new product there will be a lot of hype.

Hilton 04-03-2002 03:26 PM

Here comes my uneducated observation:

Playing graal now is like playing with toys you enjoyed at one time, and now it seems you've done all you could with that toy but you are still playing with it because it's become somewhat of a daily routine.

HAHA I SUCK AT ANALOGIES

But good job to those who still enjoy the daily "idle in the market place" routine, I commend you.

Wing 04-03-2002 04:26 PM

oh come on, you're losing money and you RAISE the prices?!?! yeah that's sure going to motivate more people to upgrade! woohoo!

Well, I would not want to play a server where the staff have fun at your expense, and very rarely update the server. This has been true for many months now. We get updates just as much as Blizzard releases a new patch for it's games :(
