Wasn't sure if this was a bug or a future improvement, so forgive me if this is in the wrong forum...

When a player gets a new weapon, it goes to the END of the weapons index in their inventory. When they resign on, it gets resorted into ABC order.

Might not sound like much, but when you have an NPC that saves the indexes of weapons for future usage, having the weapons list possibly end up resorted every time a user logs off/on is just a bit much...

So maybe it could be made so that they just add to the end of the players weapon list so the switching-indexes doesn't occur?

I dunno what the hell you just said, but make it so we can arrange the weapons the way we wanna... =P

That's the point of my NPC, but it's being a pain to do since the weapon indexes keep changing >.<

Just save the names of the weapons that you want to change the index of and use a for loop to find the new index when they log on again...

I could almost swear that you could rearrange weapons before the 2001 client, but I may be wrong. I know I did it one time, but I don't remember how... x_x

I held something then the arrow key, but I don't remember. Maybe Q and the arrow?

Hmm good point Archaon... string arrays could do that... but still, the entire weapons-switching-places ordeal is a bit annoying.

There's a deprecated syntax for specifying where NPCWs show up. toweapons name/order;. It has the unpleasant side effect that it will toweapons the same weapon as many times as it is called unless you check for hasweapon, and even then it could go wrong.

When G2K2 is finished, maybe Stefan will have time to tidy things up here...making -System NPCs invisible when they're the only weapon, making *Undeletable NPCs appear blue instead of with the * visible, debugging that / syntax or just adding a feature so we can organize our inventories...^_^

I'm assuming that's g2k2 or 2k1 Thym, otherwise you're a tad off from what I've seen...

Is how it's shown up to me...

*shrugs* I just remember Matia had toweapons Bank Card/ATM Card; but it showed up as Bank Card and every time you entered the room you got another one...

The weapon order is AFAIK only changed when
you set it with RC, but saving the weapon name
will be better
