Submitting Krynn... =(
 

Should I submit Krynn next weekend..? The only reason I haven't submitted it yet is b/c of the levels.. People don't really want to help a up and coming playerworld.. but will when its up.. Everyone knows I would get it all done.. and it has 5 quest plus.. well I can't say the fun job yet.. but it has fighting pets and stuff.. Psyker and Soul Blade have seen the pet thing.. I want you honest opinion.. should I submit..

No No...DO not submit. You may think you have nothing to lose but if you do fail then fix something then submit again, it's really boring for the reviews to review the playerworld again.

Oh if its the pets I'm thinking of, they are very very cool. Those graphics were very nice, and no doubt the scripting is as well...

I would say go for it, that quest alone you showed me was incredibly fun. They aren't stupidly challenging (some idiotic super fast graal char NPC, which kills you instantly, is what I call stupidly challenging), instead they are challenging in a nicely balanced way...incredible puzzles, excellent bosses, and challenging (in a good way) mazes. I only saw 2 quests, and a few bosses, but they are better then many things online. If correctly integrated into a nice world, the server will be incredible. Hopefully he integrated everything nicely, but even if it isn't put in that great, I still think of one of the puzzles...it was really unique, and fun. Good luck, I suggest you submit. I'm sure it will get put up if the rest of your stuff is as good as what I have seen.

To tell people the truth.. I probably won't play Krynn when its up.. Just add stuff and fix them.. I hate Krynn.. Im so tired of it.. lol. I know everything.. I know where everything is.. Its just not fun.. Thats why I want to make it better for other people to love it..

Well it seems to me that you have been making it pretty much by yourself most of the time. Once you get a full-grown staff list they give new and better ideas to enhance the game-play!

Yeah, if only he has someone like W-Dragoon...he has the most incredible ideas...they seem endless at that as well.

No No, I absolutly love it. It's just that I am trying to say make sure you double check everything before you submit so you don't fail because of a minor error, then have the reviewers have to review again after you fixed it, in a boring manner.

Oh yes.. Except for my "friend" Shrimp scripted most the stuff..
But every level is made by me.. Except for maybe like 5.. If you look at the map carefully every level is tiled with grass and stuff.. That took my so long..but I did it.. im just tired of doing levels. I want Krynn to be up so I can just hire people to do them.. but it won't go up unless the levels are done.. so it will never go up.

Well I talked to Psyker and it looks like im going to submit next week.. But I need someone like Soul Blade or someone who is really good at scripting to help me fix some stuff this whole week so it will be ready..

I don't know a lot about Krynn, but I think that you should just stick with it untill you really feel that it is completed enough to let people play it, and that they enjoy it.
Don't submit it cause you can't find people to help with levels. :(

Heh, the laptop I'm on is actually better then my comp...long story...one I don't plan on telling right now. But yeah, that is the reason...

Damn tigerdirect, they take forever to send crap. On the status site, for the new motherboard and CPU, it says "Shipped. Your order can no longer be cancelled", then below that it says "Cancelled"...its very screwed up...not open to calls on the weekens so I'm gonna call them tommorrow...point being my comp will be back sometime this week, and my comp will no longer restart and be buggy. I will even be able to play those strategy games again without it restarting constantly *looks at Shadrock, Silver, Fai....*.

Well, I will be able to help if everything goes as planned....meaning the stuff I need comes this week. A computer isn't much good without a CPU and motherboard....

Thats why you need to stock up.

mmmmkay: All I really have to say is that don't rush it, make sure that there is enough content to please the players, or else it will turn out like Babylon. Babylon's a great server it just lacks stuff to do.
