I'm blind, because I didn't notice that 2k2..
 

has a slightly altered map of 2k1. Did anyone else notice this? I might sound stupid but I never really paid much attention to it.

It has the two islands in the south, with pirates located near them, the river in the middle, and the big mass of land that I guess, is the bomy moon that has had grass grown over it.. then you go northwest, and there is zormite island, and you go even more northwest, and there's mt antora.

Also samurai and dustari are located around the same areas as on 2k1.. I can't believe I didn't notice this, maybe because it looks a lot different in the 3d version, and changed a bit.

The staff are lazy, but this time it doesn't really matter.

Odd I only see that map when I go on 2k2

I was just stating that they are using a modified version of 2k1's map, when I thought they were using an all new map.. Although I guess the new kingdom areas are all new. :)

I've known it for a very long time.

It plays in the story with 2k2.

That is so cool! Graal 2002 is 2001 for real :D

:) Ive noticed that for a while and some of the towns are in some places too. (all graal2002 is graal 2001 developed the story line is is that its just graal2001 in later years grown and developed in a RP community)

I don't think they Modified the 2k1 map...more like replicated it into 3d

Ah, wierd.. I didn't notice that. Usually I just follow the paths on the server, or I use the mini map to find staff players on so I can go see what they are up to.

Ter be quite honest, I noticed that the first time I saw the map...about the same time as Ghost Pirate I guess.

My thoughts:

"Neat map...HEY, that looks like Silverstun's Sea, that's the Bomy Moon, the Bomber River, Antora, Zormite Island, Bomboria...it seems the corners have broken off though...makes sense, there'd be geological implications to the bomy moon ordeal."


Anyway, yes...it's probably the same world, gamewise, as newmain...just catastrophically wiped clean except for a few primitive remnants. It is an aberration...but I like it!

I didn't notice either, then again I never really spend much time staring at the map.

I don't really understand 2k2.. theres like 2 islands... Kinda hard to navigate.

There's like 6 different islands.

G2k2 is too big for my liking.
I doubt they'll ever get it filled.
I suppose now that they have the 3D terrain it won't look so empty because they can change the look.
