Only half credit? Scripting is a very specialised skill, ya know.

so is graphics..

Add up the people who could script this perfectly, and then add up the people who could do the necessary graphics. You'll find the scripter count is a lot lower.

Think about bomys. Kyle and a few others script them and then some people make graphics. Who is given credit for them? There are loads of bomies, but only one script.

True, true...But afterall, i've made wing graphics..I just need some script for the player to be wearing them if they've got the "raceisangel" flag and the race will be finished.Afterall, who wouldn't want an angel with custamizable heads/clothing like a normal player?i mean sheez, its like a regular player but with wings.Maybe there could be special abilities like "floating" and hovering over rocks/bushes/water.

50% is half credit, meaning you get just as much credit as he does.. how is he getting all the credit? anyway how do you measure credit?

Person who makes script gets credit for the script.

Simple as that.

Chris took my idea and made his own angel wings, ... yeesh.. i never though HE would do that, i'm already making winged human race and so far, i havent asked for help to script since im trying to make the race on my own.. anyways, i have made ganis already and as ive heard from stefan, i can copyright them. So my ganis once they get online on the G2K1 or the PW they will be on, they will be copyrighted to that PW, do not take others ideas! i got mine from looking at a dragon horse, not from Enigma!

Hmm, yeah, some of those could probably do it (though collision detection might cause some headaches). But I think to do it to a perfect standard you might find your count dropping. Trust me on this one: as a scripter, I assure you that there would be problems that hold back all but the top few percentiles.

Basically your idea though is to just put wings on the back of somebody.....There's a few scripting issues that come up such as how you'll change the graphics and such. Also you have to make sure that the wings don't interfere with normal gameplay by getting someone stuck because they are too wide and haven't been made to pass over objects on the ground.

You could probably just do another thing like the hats, but I dunno why you'd want to bother. Or you could do like the Crowns on classic, just showimg and eyeball it.

showimg would be better even though straining because the position of the hat can be changed.. i might be getting this wrong, but i thiink the attribute for hat is always the same position on the character, so if you had a hat that didnt fit with the hat attribute instead of a hat it would be easier to make it work..

as for the wings, why not just make some -really- small ones on a body

Your wrong about that, the first server with classes was a 1.28 server called Odin that Nato ran off of his computer.

Also, this would be VERY easy to make... just make some GANIs with the wings on them for walk, pull, ect., and use the replacegani commnad. Anyone could do it.

omg like what a ***** i was when i posted here hehe, anyways, im almost done remaking walk.gani with wings so ill be able to use the new command replacegani =D hehe, although i don't know on what PW they will be on.... anyways, if anyone wants to make wings here's a template (i suck with graphics but i couldnt care less) just remove the blue lines after you made it ;)

Angels = Really dumb idea
Only if used liek Angles vs Deamons could it make ANY sence at all. Otherwise it just wouldnt fit anything and would become anotehre clitchy ass idea.
